bskey Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Yahoo!! I went in to have a few warranty things worked on, and mentioned my ongoing dash rattle, and a look went over my srevice reps face like I had punched him in the stomache. I asked him if he had heard his before, or if it were a common problem, and he stated that mine was the 3rd '05 lgt with a dash rattle that month, and that SOA had just released a TSB for it and that they would fix it! His painful face was because they have to remove the entire dash to fix it. My dealership actually takes really great care of me, so they'll do it, but hopefully you will have the same luck. I'll try to get some of the TSB details out of them when I go pick her up. Anyway, I just thought I'd share the great news! life in spin cycle.....
PGT Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 good luck! that fix didn't work on mine either <sigh>
Deer Killer Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I've heard this before but no one could find an actual TSB, can someone post it?
CasopoliS Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 for some reason I cannot find the TSB section on Opie's website

Jon in CT Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I've heard this before but no one could find an actual TSB, can someone post it?It doesn't exist.
Fast Wagon Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I don't know if there is a TSB, But I had my dash replaced over a year ago. It did take care of my dash rattles. I still have other new rattles, but not in the dash.
MiniStiGuy Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I'm dropping the car off tomorrow morning for my 30k service and I'd love to know if there is a TSB out for the dash because mine rattles like a MOFO..!! OEM HID's Rx330 Retro
andrew.anderson Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Do you know the Bulletin/Recall number? I can't find anything on it.
bskey Posted February 27, 2007 Author Posted February 27, 2007 They still have my car, but when I pick it up I'll get that info. My headlights and fogs stopped working altogether after they did the dash work, so I took it right in, and they can't figure it out. They keep throwing around 'well you've got those aftermarket HID's on, so were not sure.....". Well, they worked fine before you messed around with it! life in spin cycle.....
PhilT Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 ;1014910']It doesn't exist. The man has spoken. If it existed Jon would know Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

dtmenace Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 hmmmm..... i'm familiar with the '05 rattle, my '06 has developed the rattle as well!
rabydanimal Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Dammit all to hell I really want this to exist. I've taken my car to two different dealers to have the rattle looked at in my '06 and they can't fix it. My warranty's almost up and I will soon be up the creek. Who's your dealer, I'll call them right now!

lgt_nube Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 My warranty's almost up and I will soon be up the creek. If you told them about the problem within the warranty period, they should fix it whether or not the warranty period expires after that. That happened with a problem on my 1994 Volvo and the dealer kept working on it for a long time after the warranty period ended. Document the fact that you told them about it within the warranty period. A few photos of the LGT My current ride
