It was a mishmash of various Subaru parts. The car itself was a 1998 Outback. The replacement motor (after we blew up the original motor in the July race) came from a 2001 Impreza 2.5RS. The 4EAT tranny was original with 200K miles and untouched. The struts and springs came from a 2002 WRX. The wheels were from a 2006 WRX. The radiator came from a 2004 STi. The brakes were from a couple 2005 LGTs'. The Falken RT-615's were great. I bought them lightly used for my own car. Ran them at the track and on the street for a bit then they went on the race car. We ran on them in July and them the whole race on Sunday. Grippy and durable. The car made a whole whopping 120whp on the dyno We did drop a ton of weight from the car by gutting it cutting out just about every non structural piece of steel that we could reach with a plasma cutter or Sawzall. At least 3 teams came up to us on Sunday morning to ask who was driving at the time and saying how amazed they were that we didn't roll over. I wasn't watching the action at the time, so I never saw it live. That vid was nutso!
