bigb3630123
as long as the light still blinks amber.... Either an amber light bulb or a clear bulb that blinks amber. I know here in ny if its blinking clear they will give you a ticket.

wagonmaster87
I was just wondering if clearing the headlights is street legal. I thought a bill was passed in the seventies stating turn idicators had to be amber in color. Would a car with cleared headlights pass inspection? So far, everyone has been telling me that as long as the lights blink amber, you are fine. Dude just go to autozone and get the Silverstar two pack # 3157 AST. They are clear bulbs that blink amber. I thought a bill was passed in the seventies stating turn idicators had to be amber in color. Would a car with cleared headlights pass inspection? grey area... Similar to the fact that all motorcycles 94 and up have to have their headlights on all the time, but that is only new bikes, if you want to rewire your bike its not illegal.... I would assume reflectors in the front fall into a similar grey area, but yeah turn signals in the front def have to flash amber
