My fear would be the ipod wont talk to it, unless its a really old ipod. Mine (07 i think) has a 12v connection, so you need to buy a 5V adapter for any of the more recent even 30 pin ipods, so thats step one. I doubt the harness changed from 07-09. I would just be wary that the firmware on the ipod is too new, IF its a 30 pin, mine doesnt like anything with a lightning port even with the official apple adapter.

I'd love to see what you come up with but the newer LED options increase interior brightness enough, even after I burned out my first BIU I don't feel the need to even attempt it with the newer led option I installed with no fuss no muss. Second, the sunroof on the 4th gen wagon pushed the light so far back that it was the reason I attempted it way back when. The non-sunroof I have now seems to be less of an issue. Sounds about the same but it comes from under the car rather than the back. I had to do that on mine where the springs bolts are cause the bolt snapped. So I put some washers in. Sounded good but kinda ricey at low Rpms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just used some silver spray paint to paint the stock amber bulb. Now it doesnt look amber but still blinks that way

Saw *2* LGT Wagons today! First was around 6pm on RT100 South in the traffic. BSM wagon. 2nd one was on 322E headed out of West Chester, Spotted each other at the light, but then you took off before the traffic at the lights. Was also the RBP but not a turbo.

hey all - wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to log/check for knock through one of these iphone / wifi OBDII adapters. I got mine set up pretty nice, and wondering what to look for in the functions that would show knock. Its got timing advance and AFR and what not, but nothing specific for knock. Followed a blue 4th gen Forester on 322 in NJ headed to Rowan/Glassboro, couldnt catch up in the traffic, possibly an aftermarket exhaust... looked large..

Saw a Dark blue LGT with giant ass exhaust going up RT100 in West Chester PA this AM around 7:45.

I noticed today that at some point my hogzaust must have come loose because instead of sounding nice, it just sounds like an exhaust leak on a 92 Neon :-/ not cool at all. gotta get under there and fix it once this snow / ice / cold leaves town.

If you can find a computer parts store, the 6pin molex connector for pci-e video cards fits perfect. That's what I used. If you hard wire a 3.5mm male jack, I just used 10' foot cable, works great, just had less connection points to fail.

I passed through inspection in NJ twice without reflectors. As long as it BLINKS orange i dont think they can say anything and if you get stopped, tell them it was like that from the factory and passes inspection as such

yeah, thats the same result I got in my 05, when the wires i used were cut by the switches and shorted the BIU. (poor wiring choice) but now the "dimmer" just stays on unless i turn it OFF but is dimmer than if I turn it to "on" Sounds like a busted BUI

i used 225 @ 10 min for mine, worked like a charm about 1/2 that time to get them back together
