What is the RUBBER BAND under my car?

For those who have forgotten I started this rubber band thread and I'm so proud of it.

Let's see if I can get this picture to work!

Let me see if can get to the bottom of this..rubber band thingy. You see this is what happens when a Japanese designed car is assembled in the US. The compactness of this vehicle requires tiny little people with tiny little fingers to put together these tiny little parts. And that is why you call 'em Japanese cars. Of course having big, large white people with huge , stubby fingers assemble these cars will require American ingenuity....rubber bands. :confused: :confused: :lol:

I am hoping that this will put an end to this "stretched out" discussion about a rubber band.:munch: and good night. I am due for a good stretch.

You know, some guy driving an American car is going to read this thread, and decide that the rubberbands he sees under his car are not important liek you guys have been finding on the Legacys. He is going to rip them all out of his car, and the car is going to fall apart. That would be funny, but the poor man's car would be in pieces. We should have a disclaimer....

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Good point

!!!!!Disclaimer: If you own a GM vehicle, do not remove the rubberbands under your car, this will void your warranty and your carr will dissasemble itself.

great.. now I have a beef with Jedi...

it gave me some kind of virus...

thanks!

I gess you warned me but I didn't know that it was a virus filled spyware site.

How do you think Jedi pays his server costs?:rolleyes: If it weren't for the Russians and Koreans who pay him to spread their spyware, he wouldn't be able to offer the content that he does. Would you rather have a bunch of intrusive banner ads messing up the look of the site?

Guys... comeon... the guy has a serious question.

The rubberbands are used during assembly to hold loose parts together. They are left on after assebly... not a big deal.

They will eventually dry rot and fall off. They don't do anything and aren't "holding something together".

Either McCorry's right or you actually have a 2.5i motor. Sorry to break the news to you. ;)
