I just had the rona.....asymptomatic. Zero, notta, zilch. Must be the jab that helped me out. [emoji849]

Fiance had her second bout. Common cold like symptoms pretty bad the first few days and still tapering.

15 yr old daughter was more ill than the Mrs but tested negative. She is over whatever she had after about 5 days. Youngest daughter who seems to catch everything is good to go.

Herd immunity. We are on our way.

Glad you’re not too badly affected. Shows that we know essentially nothing about individual/ or collective systems. Despite being perceived as a left wing scientist, I realize that coronavirus have caused non-life threatening colds for many forever. Personal choice for masks is fine, but the need for testing testing testing is out of control! Unless you are making $$$$$ from them…. So, at some point herd immunity does make sense. And the tests don’t uniformly imply what people expect them to…

What’s next…..?

I refuse to put on winter tires because ...

Also, I've heard that manufacturers are putting microchips in them now.

All I can say is that those trusting Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine won't be suffering from ticks and malaria but have a severe case of anxiety with possible suicide thoughts or at best bad nightmares taking their mind off Covid-19.

Are those side effects? #afaf

I'm on day 7 of having COVID. Holy hell, I would highly recommend not getting this. I'm 22 and it's beaten the shit out of me. I have all three of my shots and am generally healthy. I do have asthma, and the flu/colds often cause issues for me. I've been hospitalized with the flu more than once. I am getting a tiny bit better every day (tested positive again yesterday) but man, it's slow progress. Hope you all are well.

I finally got COVID. Went to upstate NY for a funeral for my fiancee's great uncle, and the funeral turned into a bit of a super spreader event. Looks like patient zero was one of the little kids (4-5 years old).

Fortunately nobody got too sick.

Funeral was a Thursday, and on the following Sunday (Mar 13) we both woke up with a sore throat and dry cough, and started hearing from other people getting sick. She went for a PCR test that day and came up negative, I did a home test on Wednesday, negative, but she did another PCR on Thursday and was positive. Plus multiple other positive tests from the funeral.

Symptoms got a bit worse over the week, never any fever, but lethargy, lots of congestion, some brain fog.

Started feeling mostly back to normal after about 10 days, but I still have a lingering cough, mostly in the morning, and some shortness of breath from basic stuff like walking up stairs. Cough has been improving day by day but shortness of breath has sort of plateaued in improvement. Hopefully that resolves itself.

I've never had a cold/flu last more than a few days. For comparison, last time I had the flu it was 2 absolutely miserable days (worse than any of these COVID days), but then back to normal after a couple more days.

We both got boosters in December.

Was in Boulder CO last week for work, and did a few days of Afrin and guifanesin (sp?) expectorant while I was there, which helped clear mucus out, and no more shortness of breath.

Then I got back home to Baltimore on Thursday and started feeling a little bit of congestion coming back, but no more breathing issues....so now I'm thinking maybe I've got adult onset pollen allergies lol. Been taking my fiancées Allegra allergy meds and seems to be helping.

Seems like I also caught that bastard virus too, been home sick since Saturday so no fun Easter. Not the worst shit I have had, maybe I had it 2 years ago too, but it was before testing was developed well.

I just made my (hopefully) last doctor/specialist visit post-COVID last week or two. I'm getting to the point where I can do prolonged cardio and lifting weight above my head, but the gym does still kick my ass and it's not the sort of ass-kicking I get when out of shape. My lungs are scarred and I don't know how much better they're gonna get :(

Doesn't surprise me one bit. The most hardcore of antivaxxers I know are of this age. The younger ones in that age range also had some delays getting vaccinated compared to the older people in that group, I believe.
