Then choose what areas you want to mask with tape. I also bought clear bulbs that blink orange online somewhere. It just takes a while for paint to dry and you might want to do more than one coat of paint. So it could take some time... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
legacyshawn Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Vitaliy was my go to. Try to get someone to be there to help you with seperating the light casing. Other than that make sure you use low stick masking tape and dont press the tape too hard on the chrome or you risk pulling some chrome off. For the 08-09' i chose to take the reflectors entirely out and i like the look better, hopefully soon ill get some clear bulbs that glow amber to finish out the look. This pic is about the closest I can come to what I want, BUT I'm thinking about leaving a little more chrome on there on the projector part in the center. instead of leaving just the "ring" around the center, it would go further back.
