What did you do to your Outback today? V3
Febreze Mee replied to SBT's topic in Third Generation Subaru Outback (2004 – 2009)
Verny Very nice. I, too, have an OEM Momo wheel I'd like to throw on. I want to clean it up first, however. Maybe get it reupholstered? -

Annoying window scratch, both cars!!
Febreze Mee replied to MaasaiWarrior's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I am almost certain these are your problem: 61256AG000 The felt has worn down over the years and it's down the the plastic or metal. That or they are just extremely dirty. https://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_2006_Legacy-25L-TURBO-5MT-4WD-GT-Limited-Wagon/_54105_6024910/FRONT-DOOR-PANEL--REARSLIDEDOOR-PANEL-REAR-SYSTEM/B13-605-04.html -
Donut Media Video on the Legacy

I dislike what he said about sales. This was said in reference to Spec Bs - I think: "Only 1500 of them sold over the course of about 4yrs... see even when they give us cool stuff we don't buy it..." It was a limited production run car. The supply was limited. WE wanted the car! -

Mine is scratched as well, just not as bad as yours. If it's anything like R32 GTRs (I only have ever dealt with it on those cars), then there are felt strips along the trim of your windows and that trim needs to be replaced. It should be a straightforward fix, I'm just lazy and haven't gotten around to doing mine yet. Thanks for the reminder. -

Glad to see I wasn't the only one on here who saw and felt the same way. Just tagged LatentWagen in the "What's on your mind this instant?" thread. The 4th gen LGT is absolutely the best! -

I spy a wild Kalien32 peeping. Caught! I decided to reach out to a few friends and put together an Easter Drive for us. Kalien32 helped pick the route. I got to take the Outback out on the Hood Canal Loop. 2.5hrs of sweepers and turns rated at 25-45mph and you know it's going to be nonstop fun! 25mph turn = 50mph turn. Bikes were up front the whole way. We had Dylan in his Denver-tuned 487awhp B5 S4 lead the bottom half of the loop. Following close behind was Dakota in his Alaska-tuned 320awhp STi (the car was detuned from 380awhp). The bikes were leaning the entire time, as we threw our cars around behind them. It was all of the cars' first spirited drive up here, and everyone had a blast. I look forward to the next one! I also finally got to see this pretty thang in person: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/kalien32s-05-white-wagon-256115.html?p=5781713 Looking forward to seeing it on the road soon Foreshadowing updates: - Madrig Fibre Glass extended spoiler is coming in Friday (Thanks Madrig) - Fluid flushes/changes (diffs, trans, brakes) -

No Rulz Racing 06 LGT Build (5MT)
Febreze Mee replied to NORULZleggy's topic in Legacy Photos (2005-2009)
Oh no. I won't be tuning my car. My car makes me happy as is. I was just curious. I'd rather put the money elsewhere anyways. The next big service should be coming around soon. -

Hella 70W or Nokya 65W H7 bulbs?
Febreze Mee replied to leetdrv's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I am using the German Volsla 65W bulb from Daniel Stern Lighting that Grovlet stated above and I don't think it gets much better than those for halogen bulbs. If you want something better, do an HID retrofit. If you want your bulb life to last, disable your DRLs. They cut your bulb life in half. -
It's the searches that will mess with the site. So when you google search something, sometimes the site you click will have been used with a different theme or language setting.

Daniel Stern Lighting and Subaru headlight options

It is a little undertaking that has a lot to gain from. Congrats! And you did the retrofit. Are you happy with the output? -
Picture request: Legacy lowered on H&R Springs
Febreze Mee replied to Chrisbl's topic in Legacy Photos (2005-2009)
You're only a bad person if you are trying to show us something and don't upload any pics to show us. If you're having trouble uploading, reduce the file size by 50% and retry. People will always look for pictures. I've been tearing apart these forums for the last 5yrs (my account is new) and still look through the old archives for stuff.
