  1. Now this is common knowledge that a lot of us have possessed for some time now, but in case you hadn't been blessed yet, or were interested in some wisdom...….here: https://parts.subaru.com/?partner=Google_101_Subaru_General_State_TX_Exact&gclid=CjwKCAjwwPfVBRBiEiwAdkM0HXTLoQuVTickdh4NIrk0gyiBA4HUmk0b-sTEPCyVP9vDxMVhfoQqzxoCqagQAvD_BwE You're welcome. I have now bestowed this upon you. Use it for greatness, and better others with this Curse of Knowledge.

Here we go... matching PN#s All for the same product your getting at 100:$13 vs 1:$2.5 Why pay for 5 clips when you could get 20x as much for the same price. Thanks lil'redwagon
  3. Ohhhhh man! I so want to help you out, but are back in Texas in my garage. If you're willing to pay for shipping, I could get them up to you. Otherwise, I totally understand and wish you luck. - Andrew
  4. The bulb model I bought was the HP36 (210lumens), the $40 option: https://www.diodedynamics.com/backup-leds-for-2005-2019-subaru-outback-pair.html They put out more light than the factory 921s, but had I another $50 to spend at the time, I would have opted for the $90 XP50s, especially considering it is almost double the lumen count. But if it's anything to you, I can see better when reversing at night, even with my window tint ("medium," I have no idea what % the tint is). Let me know what you end up going with. I really want to see the XP50's in your wagon. Orrrrrrrrr, I would be willing to sell the HP36s to you $40 shipped and just get some XP50s for myself. I put the reverse lights in on Christmas Eve so, they are still brand new. If you're interested in doing this, the only caveat is I do not have my car with me, so if you can wait till the end of the month when I should have the car, then I'm game if you are. Either way, I'm happy with my reverse lights, not in a rush to upgrade, as there was already a significant difference from what I can see.
  5. Yes, part numbers please. I promise I'm not being lazy, I just want to make sure I don't get any oversized ones either. The clips are dumb expensive for what they are so a cheaper amazon alternative would be perfect!
  6. Rather, a great idea. As soon as I can, I'll be heading up to a dealer to grab a ton of them. I always find myself breaking them.
  7. I've never looked, but it doesn't sound like it is too easy to find one, let alone two rear hatch garnishes, from two different market. Good luck on your endeavors. I cannot wait to see it when it is done.
  8. This happened recently enough, let's just call it today, yeah? So I am on my way back home (150mi trip) and half way back on a two-lane highway in the middle of no where, I hear a POP. Every time I give the car a little throttle I hear a not-so-comforting noise. I'm extremely worried at this point that something got caught in the belt or something more major has happened. I limp the car another two miles to a gas station, and upon stepping out of the car I smell something awful. MELTED PLASTIC! YES! I immediately exclaimed. I was so relieved to see that it was just the front part of my inner fender liner (passenger side). The winds were strong that day, and they came under the car and snagged my fender liner (It wasn't secured in the first place. I had taken off the front bumper so many time and broke a clip every time I did so. I just need to execute the decision to go pay the stealership $5 for every clip down there.) I took out my knife and cut the very front of the fender liner out. So now I need to go get a new one. Another good example of do everything right the first time. I was lazy and didn't secure it properly. Not a big deal, but you can take something away from it.
  9. Ooh I like that one in the picture too. I've never ever noticed that. So the driver-side reverse light is different from the passenger-side on the JDM/EDM models?
  10. That's tough man. I was just watching the Gears and Gasoline LGT wagon build last night. He has the same issue with the driver's side door.
  11. When you say "cool" do you mean one that emits cooler (temperature if it were K's) than the one below? Or do you mean "cool" as in one that looks way better than the one below? *OEM (driver's side) vs. LED (passenger's side)*
  12. Still interested in the rotors and tan fabric floor mats. Do you by chance have a shipping quote?
  13. This thread is the way to go for a proper polish: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/headlight-restoration-guide-201687.html If you have a different way of doing it, or prefer a less intense route, then there's always that too.
  14. Refer to this thread for pictures: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/febreze-mees-2-5i-limited-wagon-build-thread-281185.html Unfortunately, I don't have a build thread on them. I spent hours combing through threads on forums, google, and YouTube videos of other LGT's to figure out how to do it. So I do not have in-progress pictures. An 80mm halo ring will do. And some 6-inch LED strips. When mounting the rings and strips, just open up the housing, mock-up the rings and strips, mark your measurements, drill, mount, reseal. I used a super small gauge wire to mount everything. I don't recall how small. I walked into a computer hardware store and asked for the smallest gauge wire. I didn't want to worry about JB Weld causing condensation, or falling apart after some time and seasons. I wasn't the biggest fan at first, but they grew on me. Now I do really like them. And I get compliments from others anywhere I go, so others like them too yayy! *It should be noted that the photos I have of mine, and any I've come across online, don't do the halos or strips justice. In some photos my headlights are outright scratched/dirty. My photos were not edited for light aperture or anything, so they appear bulky and blurry in some/most photos. They are actually quite crisp and it is hard for me to capture that through my phone.*
  15. I am running these bulbs in my headlights. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/febreze-mees-2-5i-limited-wagon-build-thread-281185.html I cannot compare them to anything, but the factory bulb-output that came with our cars. These are superior to some of the 55w Sylvannias or whatever else I've used in the past. I do not have an in-depth review on them, but here are my thoughts and experiences: I have driven in the dark country roads with these, and through the bright city/suburban streets. These are perfectly fine for driving around in the city. Drivers can see you just fine, and you light up the areas that aren't already lit by light poles, other drivers, etc. In the country, it would seem as though the environment absorbs a lot of my light. And any chance I get, on a two-lane highway in the middle of nowhere, you better believe I'm using my high beams. These don't turn day into night. I don't have the confidence I would on these back roads at night as if I was using 6000k retrofits, but the difference in cost/time for me to use these Volsas vs. an HID retrofit is worth it. I don't drive on pitch black roads often enough for me to justify spending my time or money on retrofits. And when I do drive on these roads, I use my high beams which are sufficient enough. All-in-all I am a fan of these bulbs for the output:cost. They do what I need them to do, and perform how I need them to. If you find majority of your evening driving on backroads, you will want a bulb or system that offers more. If you have time/money to burn, go for the retrofit. Also, I never got back to you with those output photos. I took some, but they came out blurry. So next time I'm with the car, I will attempt to get some photos for you
  16. Looking to get a shipping quote for the rotors and tan fabric floor mats. PM'd
  17. One of the mintiest 15yr old cars I've ever seen. And less than 50K miles? Someone is going to get a great deal! GLWS. Sorry to see it go.
  18. Definitely consider getting yourself the Whiteline KCA399 kit as whitetiger had said.
  19. That sure is a clean car! Welcome to the forums, and congrats on a solid purchase. Looking forward to seeing more of it in the future.
