I need to figure out what parts, if any I should remove from the LGT. Maybe the boomba weighted short shift plate, Perrin steering lockdown, RacesEng shift knob, one of my sets of wheels, Hardrace engine front/thrust mount, skid plate. Possibly my HIDs + silicone harnesses+relays packs+ballasts+on-delay-module... But only if anybody wants them. Bilsteins, toe arms with lock outs, sway bar are all going with the car since it's cost me more than I'd recover.

That makes two of us. I'm loving mine. All kinds of great touches... Like the fenders are rolled from the factory. You can choose what audio sources the toggle on the wheel includes. You can configure everything. I love the oil temp, boost, torque gauges and full color display between the analog gauges. Is it true that you don't get the suede headliner, wireless charging, 360 camera, spare tire, or heated rear seats down in 'Murica (or is that a myth?)

Who says I'm leaving? I will probably keep lurking with all the other weirdos on here who don't have one anymore or who claim to have one locked up in the garage....plus I still need to find a buyer. Are there any Canadians on here that need an upgrade from a 2.5slow? I need to enable them in no uncertain terms.

This. Stinger GT Limited (which is like a GT2 in the US but with suede headliner, 360 camera, rear heated seats, and wireless phone charging) black leather, 3M hood film, 5% window tint, Blizzaks installed in addition to the Pilot Sport 4s tires. Got 5 % off MSRP and the above stuff thrown in. Went for a drive and it was everything I want. Transmission was excellent. Its fast and sounds great. And in deep snow it's a champ. Every bit as good as the Legacy. The LGT is officially up for sale. Didn't trade.

I'm not likely looking for a manual this go around, so thats not a factor for me. So far every review Ive seen says the transmission is right up there with a ZF8 or close, so I'll see when I can my butt in one. Regarding the infotainment - that "tablet on the dash" look is all the rage these days it seems, pretty near every car has it that way now. The infotainment system itself is excellent and has Android-Auto/Apple-Carplay (same system as my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport).

Yes. Not in a rush, but those two cars are shortlisted. I test drove a 2.0T Accord Sport 10-spd the other day... It was pretty great but I don't think I can do FWD. The 10-spd AT was fantastic, however and that motor pulls hard. It'll tear the tires off easily at part throttle. If it came in AWD it'd be a more serious contender but I haven't ruled it out. I listed my GT for sale on Kijiji.... to see if anyone is interested.

AWD There is no RWD/3.3T version, in Canada at least. The 2.0T is available RWD with 8spd AT or 6spd MT/LSD. The pricing is a bit steep though. So I put a deposit on a Stinger as well, GT-Limited, which is like GT2 in the US but also has a suede roof liner, cup holder cover, 360 camera, wireless phone charging, heated rear seats and other stuff not available in the US for some reason.

Boo. Haven't been on here is a while. The new job is keeping me busy and been sicker than hell for weeks. First strep throat, then sinus infection, then influenza, then took a bad asthma attack, hospitalized twice, and been staying oxygenated by way of various oral and inhaled steroids and bronchodilators... Hope you all are well. Got to be better than me! In other news...just pre-ordered a Genesis G70 3.3T Sport. We'll see.

Fair enough. You were obviously driving base models because uptrim Subaru interiors are not even in the same league as uptrim Hyundai's. They just aren't. Look, I get it... They used to be total crap. Same was true for Toyotas and Honda's 30 years ago and Mazdas 15 years ago. I'm just saying that it's simply not true now. I can tell you that the warranty issues I've had with both my Hyundai and my Subaru make me wish that Subaru treated me even close to as well as Hyundai has. But hey. Maybe I'm just imagining it [emoji6] In any case, thanks for the background info.

Speaking of Stinger GT, the spec sheets and preorder forms for the cars in Canada got leaked. In 2018 there will be no 4-pot and in Canuckistan there will only be AWD variants offered, and in two trims, loaded and loaded with tech and better seats. Canadian pricing. I thin 'murica pricing is about 5 grand less. In case anyone is interested... Highlights: Preorder form with more specs, color choices, etc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3TFvNKNMYLsVDhKSmYtQlZyTTQ/view?usp=drivesdk

Well a Ford Fusion Sport is definitely no longer a "next car" candidate. The Fast Lane Car just did a 0-60 and quick track test. What a pile of garbage. How can a car with 325 HP and 370 lbft of torque and AWD and decent enough summer rubber only do 6.8 vs 4.8 for a stock 340i awd, same driver and moments before. And crap lap time. Slower than a new Civic SI which is not quick neither. Fail.
