  1. I'm 6'2" 240lbs and I fit behind myself in my Stinger no problem. Head room is close, but not touching, and I have knee room to spare. Less room than the 5thGen LGT but that's no surprize. The center position is not a good place to hangout, but the two outboard seats are comfy. I guess it depends how the driver likes to sit... knees up or legs straight. Also, if you get in the back seat with the ignition off and the easy access drivers seat enabled, the drivers seat would be all the back on its rails. This can be reduced or disabled entirely if trash-compacting rear passengers is a concern [emoji849] Getting in and out of the backseat is the real headache. Literally... your lucky if you don't wack your head, due to the low swooping roofline. The G80 Sport is one half size bigger and same drivetrain. The Stinger is right in between the G70 and G80 in wheelbase length.
  2. Which stinger forum, if any, do you frequent? I've not had the shifter issue but I don't think I ever let it bounce back without my hand on it. I'm waiting to get my front catch can back from Tork motorsports... they put the drain in a place that made it impossible to install and they are reworking it, but they have maybe the worst customer service and communication on the planet, so no idea how many months that'll take... Screen mesh in the side aero vents to keep rocks out is something I did to keep if from cloying up or the paint getting chipped. Rear hatch rattle is the only issue I've had, but that was fixed easy enough. Eibach swaybar going in in a couple weeks!
  3. Perseids meteor shower this weekend! Random thought: checked the resale of my (formerly) LGT currently vs when I sold it, given the mile I would have put on it (I.e. what I've put on my Stinger), and its lost a lot since January. I had gotten 15500 CAD for it, which was black book and now black book is only 9k. Eek.
  4. Congrats! Welcome to the club! We can't get the ivory interior in Canada. Looks good. Black or Red nappa leather here.
  5. Sat in a Genesis G70 at the car show. It's pretty similar interior wise to my Stinger, but with a few nuances different. The back seat legroom is substantially less than the Stinger. I'm happy with my choice.
  6. Yup because the PCV is the only thing keeping 18psi of boost out of your crankcase. If I had kept the car, I'd have found an inline PCV or check valve of some kind and put it in the boost/vacuum line leading to the PCV as a redundancy. I wrote a post at one point about changing it because it was causing a small boost leak.
  7. Swapped over to my summer wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on the Stinger. Good Lord it launches hard with some sticky rubber. Its a staggered setup with 255 35 19 in the rear on 8.5" wide wheels and 225 40 19 in the front on 8" wide wheels.
  8. Maybe you didn't notice a difference because the rubber bushing in your car's steering shaft isn't broken in yet
  9. New white carbon fiber korean style badges for the Stinger. Real bastard to get the OEM ones off.
  10. Becks... Isn't that how everyone in Ontario parks anyway? [emoji3]
  11. I feel like I used some 3M double sided tape to resolve that at some point... Don't remember how exactly though.
  12. Genius. Brass split pins glued down then fix the mesh to those. Advantus Round Head Solid Brass Fasteners, 1-Inch, Size 4, 100-Count, 84C https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00B4NPDRW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jxdPAbXE303PX
  13. I feel like it's been so long since your GT was on the road you should have used a photo of your own car...
  14. If your epoxy doesn't do it, then a smear of PL Premium PU adhesive rubbed on to the frame, left to get tacky, then a thick bead and press the mesh into it and those things will be married together like an old Irish Catholic couple.
  15. Installed my K & N intakes in the Stinger. Glorious twin-turbo sounds. Since there are also two blow off valves they go right squirlly sputtering and popping at different times... It's marvelous. Fun fact... My car doesn't have exhaust manifolds, they are integrated into the heads with the turbos mounted directly to each head. And the wastegates are electronically actuated.
  16. That sounds like you need to increase the preload on your BPV. It should only open when there is a significant pressure difference between the turbo compressor outlet and the manifold after the throttle plate. That shouldn't happen ever during steady throttle like cruising on the highway. Your compressor is making boost and you are dumping it to atmo. Could be fouling plugs.
  17. FYI do a little scouting of the situation on the LGT first. A couple things to note: 1. The spare tire tub will piss you off royally. It's impossible to get a socket on the studs because its in the way, so torquing to spec is a problem unless you have open end adaptor for a torque wrench. 2. One or both (don't remember) of the front ones are solid on the Legacy vs the Fozz so it's not needed there. Don't remember the details but you'll figure it out. Anyway... It's mildly more complicated just because of the tire tub.
  18. On the south side of the city there is a big ripper bar named "Diamond's Gentleman's Club" and today driving by, the sign out front read: Clown Stripper BJ McNaughty February 26 [emoji23]
  19. And what do you think is going to go down the next time he goes by your driveway when you aren't standing there?
  20. I discovered today that there is a button on my rearview mirror that activates a Google voice search, built into the car. This is independent of Android Auto/your phone and uses the built in data connection the car has. Cool...
  21. You can't just take her out of captivity and let her go wild like that. She isn't socialized. You have to ease her into it.
