What did you do to your 5th gen today?? -V4

Re: Reverse lights... you said you did a quad mod...do you have them in parallel or series on each side? Its very possible that the BIU is confused by the lack of resistance, i.e. a CANBUS burp. With LEDs, if you put 2 of them them in series, you will get a voltage drop of 1.4 volts with zero resistance and if one blows they both go out, and if you put them in parallel, only one will be on at a time (unless they have resistors) you will get a voltage drop of 0.7 volts with zero resistance and if one blows the other will still work. Very likely, the problem is insufficient resistance if you have them in parallel. Wire them in series and problem will probably be solved. This is why someone else found that swapping out one LED with a resistive bulb fixed it - becasue that increased the total resistance of the circuit enough that the BIU was fooled. Alternatively, add resistance with one of these: https://www.prolightz.com/morimoto-hd-load-resistor-dual.html These are the LED reverse lights I had, by the way and holy crapola are they bright: https://www.prolightz.com/pl1-t15-led-bulbs.html -

Heh... I know right... Just in case you didn't know it was turbocharged. Plus it adds 30 HP... ... ... I think they do that so that shop techs have no excuse for putting the wrong oil in them. Nobody can say "but I didn't know it was a turbo" ... With that said, its soon going to be a rarity to find a NA car... -

Not a 5th gen, but as 5th gen alumni, I feel entitled My new winter wheels: My new badges: My new air intake(s)... don't care about power, just wanted the lovely induction noises: And because the MAF is after the intercooler on these cars (thats it there on the thermally insulated and indestructible aluminum charge pipe on the left), you can change intakes, BPVs, etc all day long and not worry about MAF scaling issues -

... It's funny how pictures make it look so bronze in color.. it's not really like that in person. Almost the same as the console trim. -
I have an EGO 56v 21" push mower (from Home Depot). Its fantastic: 1. I had no gas yard tools already so this meant I don't have to store gas, oil, etc. 2. It is wayyyy lighter than gas mowers. 3. Its super quiet. No noise other than blade noise. You can use it on a Sunday morning without pissing off your neighbor (pro or con, you decide) 4. It can be stored sitting up on its end, dramatically reducing garage real-estate taken up when not in use. 5. No maintenance, though I recognize thats not that big of a deal The battery charges in about 30 minutes and I can cut my 2500 sq ft of lawn easily on a charge, probably twice if its not real long.

The real magic happens when you have the diff inserts, the group n trans mount with PU bushings, AND the hardrace engine thrust mount. That engine mount takes the bounce out of the drivetrain since it is what controls bounce in the front axle. -

Wait. You are putting that turd INTO your car? -
My understanding, according to the Cobb site, is that they won't do the trade between different models. i.e. an AP-SUB-003 v2 can only be used to trade up to an AP-SUB-003 v3, not to an "AP-KIA-001" if such a thing should ever exist (current tuning solutions are sensor piggyback chips) It'll probably be a while before I feel like it needs more powah (i'm not naive enough to think I'll never feel that way). However...It's already stupid fast. It goes like a scalded cat. 100 smiles per gallon

It's more comparable to a 440i Grand Coupe or an S5 Sport back. Its way bigger than a 3 series or even S4. Seats up, there is more room in the trunk than in the back of a VW Atlas. The Genesis G70 is more 3-series territory in size. The Audi retails for 72K CAD equiped similarly to the Stinger at 49K CAD. Side note: The Stinger motor is fully closed deck block with beefy internals that supposedly is good for about 700hp. The transmission is design rated for 1100Nm( 800lb-ft ) in the service manual and all the drive line components are way beefier than necessary... It's like they *want* you to mod it...
