  1. Correct. You bought top feed and have side feed. The linked ones are side feed.
  2. The previous cobb tune had to have included his tgv deletes or else it would have the codes already. Your previous pictures didn't all show up. I see the yellow side feed injectors in the first picture. No others though. Any side feed tgv will work with the setup you have in your first picture.
  3. Your car was already tuned for the tgv deletes or else it would have thrown codes before. If I were you, I'd get rid of the intake, put the previous tune back on and leave it like it was. Stock intake is good for up to 400 hp. If you can't go back to previous setup you'd have to buy sidefeed tgvs. You won't be able to tune your new setup. There is a long explanation for why. I won't get into it in this post.
  4. Describe the issues you were having tuning? Cobb greenspeed related? As for the issue, you need side feed tgvs if you want your setup to be like factory. Please attach pictures of two things: 1. The tgvs on your engine. 2. The tgvs you purchased.
  5. Cobb has a workaround to be able to use the tgv wires for data and the tgvs. Their new flex fuel module has it and I'm curious how they've done it.
  6. Your 2008 OBXT came with a VF46 from the factory. The 2008 OBXT and 08-14 WRX have the exact same longblock. D25 heads and EJ255 block.
  7. I really wish I could buy one of these. I need new bigger cams first though. Can't justify buying both cams and a turbo for my build (that still isn't done). Also curious about exhaust turbine size.
  8. Some labeled here. There used to be a thread made by free range racing but it got deleted when the site migrated to a new format.
  9. A couple of other thoughts to try. It might be electrical interference. Clear the code, pull the connector off the alternator and run the car to see if it comes on. A p0340 fault should come back pretty quickly. A faulty starter with high resistance may also cause interference during cranking enough to throw the fault.
  10. Did you change the wire harness from the ecu to the engine compartment? This is different from the engine harness.
  11. This is a big longshot (applies to different years), but you could check the clearance for the cam sensor. There is a TSB with the procedure and part numbers for spacers. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/SB-10052498-5734.pdf
  12. Rear Tribeca bars won't fit and they are small in diameter. Thr front is supposed to fit.
  13. Check the wires at the connector on the alternator. Remove it and inspect it.
  14. Not entirely true. On 05+ the rear O2 sensor can affect fuel trims. It's A/F3 correction and learning. See this linked thread. https://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=8595&start=0
  15. Alternator, cluster, and a fuse control the charging system. Check the alt-s fuse in the engine bay.
  16. Correct in that only the sognal wire is shielded. For future reference for anyone who sees, you can see this in the diagram above by the dashed "cylinder" around the wire. Any wire with this is shielded. Ypu can then see the shielded wire itself is grounded at the ecu.
  17. Only way to test would be to remove the connector from the ecu and the corresponding connector at the maf and check the continuity. Should be near zero.
  18. There are 3 wires from the maf that go straight to the ecu. Pins 2, 3 and 4. See the attached image.
  19. Don't go WOT if you're having problems. It's a good way to blow another motor. As to why, it sounds as if you're experiencing knock and the engine is pulling enough timing that you can feel it. You need to pull a learning view and post it for us to help with troubleshooting. No more WOT.
  20. Some years have them for each OCV feed whole some only had it on one ocv. I recall the easy way to tell if there is a filter is if the banjo bolt has a hump on it. Hump is filtered, flat is not. Locations to check: 1. Turbo oil feed line 2. Passenger (right) OCV (easy) 3. Driver (left) OCV (difficult)-behind timing cover Link for walkthrough:
  21. Someone needs a new center diff. I just know it. I suppose that I would ship, provided buyer pays it, but it may be cost prohibitive.
  22. Did you remove the filters when you installed the used engine? Do you know the condition of the used engine? Those codes mean certain doom for the turbo (which is now gone) and potential doom for the motor too. You need to remove all 3 screens, flush the motor multiple times, and cross your fingers.
