frank_ster
Seeing as a production version of this looks to be dead. Would it be possible to get the drawings to make our own? What was the final issue? It looks like the side brackets cleared the stock muffler hangers. Can I assume the concern was with aftermarket mufflers? Sure send me a pm with your email. I’ll send you the drawings The hitch it self seems to be fine the 5 or so that we’re made and installed Just need someone to be a project manager and get out there and do it . bn_bnntt
I didn't think people actually pulled trailers heavy enough for brakes in these cars. I tow a utility with the owners hitch.

Rhitter
I didn't think people actually pulled trailers heavy enough for brakes in these cars. I tow a utility with the owners hitch. 2 inch works better for bike racks (and is the main reason I want one) My OBXT build
boxkita
but the rear springs are soo soft. if you have 1500 lb trailer and 150 lbs weight on the hitch its already very low I've been kicking around a featherlight flatbed trailer to haul the racewagon. I'd have to lift my wagon back up, but would be worth it Build my car Boxkita Track days
Flinkly
can't you make/get a cute little adapter for something like a bike rack? there's a ton of length on the OE hitch to do something like that before you get out from under the bumper too... just generating ideas. (this was for Rhitter's 2 inch desire...) * Build Thread * 26.53 MPG - 12 month Average *
Rhitter
oh sure, but it's not beautifully tucked up like this one. It's just not the same thing. My OBXT build
