I did my front brakes with Centric Premium rotors, AC Delco brake clips, and StopTech brake pads with 3M Silicone Grease on the sliders and CRC Brake grease on all other contact points.

Somewhat regret not waiting to get the bigger caliper and bracket off a newer legacy for bigger front brakes, they look really small compared to the wheels (the car already has 18 inch wheels on it).

Anways, they still look a hell of a lot better than the gross drilled rotors and brake dusty pads that it had before...

Sidenote, noticed my car is loosing about a half a quart of oil every two months or so...

Old List since purchasing car in April 2016:

*Cleared headlights with 3M Kit and sealed with Blue Magic

*Rear Brakes:

- Centric Premium Rotors

- StopTech Brake Pads

*Rear Struts:

- Discontinued Bilstein HD Struts

- OEM Subaru Strut Bolt

- KYB Strut Top Mounts

*Re-greased rear sway bar

*New Air Filter

*New Cabin Filter

*New PCV Valve

*Oil Changes w/ Pennzoil Full Synth High Milage

*Purolator Oil Filter

*Dimple magnetic Oil Drain Plug

*Dimple magnetic transmission drain plug

*Seafoamed Engine Oil for 100 miles

*Seafoamed gasoline

*Replaced tail light bulbs

*Dash

- Red LED bulbs

- Removed tape over check engine light from previous owner...

- Replaced dash notification lights

- Installed stereo and rewired harness (twice had to rewire it)

- Plug in radio antenna that was unplugged

*Flushed coolant and replaced coolant

*Added Subaru coolant conditioner

*Replaced car battery

*Paid to have mechanic replace front O2 sensor after failing to remove old on my own...

*Paid to have new Clutch (Exedy), Bleed Clutch, TSK Snout Throw Out Bearing & Center diff/transfer case bearings (OEM) replaced...

*Paid Les Swab to repalce all four tires after driving on a flat for over a week and falsely accusing alignment for steering....

Changed my exhaust manifold gaskets today. That took care of my final exhaust leak! Also I think I discovered the cause of a noise I've been hearing under the car. I believe my exhaust was loose due to a bolt that holds the catalytic converter in place. The bolt was loose so I tightened it up and I think it fixed my issue. I'll find out for sure on my way to work tomorrow.

I've owned my '00 Legacy L since April this year and this is what I've done to it so far. Replaced struts with Outback struts, installed Pioneer HU with JVC speakers, new inner and outer tie rod ends, valve cover gaskets, adjusted valve clearance, replaced rear left caliper, front brake pads, new headlights, new tires, new resonator, gutted one cat, new donut gasket, new gasket between manifold and cats, new gasket between resonator and muffler, new air intake, spark plugs, and plug wires, replaced instrument cluster, installed LED lights in the cluster, HVAC, 12V port, ashtray etc, Just anyplace you can easily put an LED, painted grille to mimic GT/Limited grille, replaced every body clip I could find with new ones. That's about all I can think of right now.

I recently picked up a set of aluminum wheels off of a '97 Impreza for $40. They are in excellent shape and will be going on in the spring. I'll also be doing head gaskets, timing belt, etc in the spring.

Have a 2000 5sp black blitzen edition legacy 120xxx km, with gold painted wheels and a tommy kiara front bumper (because someone smashed up my stock blitzen one). Gold grills all around, and my rear bumper is held together by almost 400 zap straps (and a lot of love) because I smashed it into a jigsaw puzzle when I was hungover backing out of my driveway into my sisters car... Today, or rather over the course of the last few days, I installed a gfb bov, did some vacuum re-routing for 12psi primary and 15psi secondary, straight piped it (no 2nd cat or resonator or muffler :D) bought some pirellis and stencilled some pirelli logos on them, and blacked out my brake calipers. Oh yeah... I removed my whole f***ing rear subframe to replace 2 broken bushings causing a knock/thud sound. aaannnddd redline gl4 spec MT90 in the trans, fresh rotella t6 0w40. Now I can shift into 1st gear while moving without any grinding :) and a few other little things. Gotten alot of compliments on my body work (rear bumper). Anyone wanna see pics?

Well this morning my car would not start.

Discovered my battery terminals were too loose, and while tightening the positive terminal it broke off....

So today I bought a new OEM Subaru positive terminal for $14 and two lead battery shims to snug up on the battery. Ended up replacing it at work today... :p
