It was chilly today and I took a nap after work, which made me lose all motivation, but I got a lil bit done.. I'm hoping to get it all done this weekend, but the OU/Notre Dame game might slow me up a bit.. ha

Cooling fan for the SC. The instructions said to just zip tie it somewhere, but I made a bracket and riveted it to the subframe.

Since the 2008 4EAT doesn't have an external transmission filter, I am having to tap into the lines going up to the radiator for my temp gauge.

I've had these on for a while, but here are the Rallisport UEL headers.

The dogs got tired of watching me work.

All this to install a couple gauges. Fun Fun

Yeah , saw it on NCSC !

Still debating , investing 3k on my car loan , and probably next year it would be fully paid and then , selling it for a GT ... or getting an SC .... mmmmmmm

I hope that MAF tube is at least as big as the stock one.

Its 2.5". Sufficient I suppose.

Few more pics, I'm getting closer to being done, little by little. My ECU isn't currently supported so I hope someone can build a definition for it very soon so I can get my base map. I should be ready to roll this coming weekend. All that will be left is a trans flush and oil change with Amsoil fluids.

Gauges installed and on

Gauges with the headlights on

More complete. MAF tube painted and completely installed. Also Rallitek spark plug wires

Charcoal. & Intercooler radiator mounted. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b514/sclegacy08/2012-10-30173713.jpg

Bosch water pump mounted and hoses ran. 3/4" ID hoses are quite large.

I asked Tim @ Raptor about that and he said something about the air/air intercooler being either too restrictive or to much pressure loss.. I can't remember. But supposedly the pressure loss of the wta setup is 20x less. I'm trying to take my time & be careful to not have any leaks *fingers crossed*

Well my landlord informed me last night that I have to get my car out of the garage and up the driveway so he can work on the garage. Yay we'll see how this turns out with stock ecu

Look for a Impreza 4EAT map of the same year that may help you get started and it will be a lot safer than stock ECU with a SC

Oh and that is a huge improvement over FMIC

Why would you think that an impreza map of the same year would be safer then a legacy map?

haha will do.

Here is a video of it backing out. I tried to let it move without me touching the throttle, but go as quick as I could and hope I don't damage anything. I'm sure there is fuel in my oil now, oh well its getting changed haha

Why didnt you just push it and not risk anything?

The car sounds like a true dragster.

Absolutely awesome! Screw worrying about damage and tuning, just drive it like that. The noises it makes are just too bad ass.

I wish it would sound like that, only without dumping so much fuel in there.

:spin:
