So, after some more research, factoring in some of the suggestions in response to my last post, learning a lot more from other sections of the forums (suspension etc), and looking through tons of rims, I think I've finally figured out what I want (hopefully).

95% sure I'm going to go with the XXR 557 in Black/Milled w/ Milled Lip. 18x8.5 et+35, paired with 245/40ZR18 (Leaning towards Conti ExtremeContact DWS06, seen a lot of good reviews online and here).

Pretty reasonable price per rim considering the size, around $150, ($123 if I had the money to by them for the 4th of July sale lol). Considered going for 19x8.5, but the price jump for both rims and rubber is just too much for me. Willtheyfit.com shows additional poke of just under an inch (25.7 mm), and just slightly higher on the speedo reading (0.55%).

It seems to be a rather uncommon wheel, only been able to find a few pictures of cars wearing them, and even less in the finish I want. Found a picture of them on a silver Civic and a dark grey R32, and I think they look pretty good. Considering I want a number of black accents on my silver car, I think they'll compliment nicely.

Should I have any fitment issues with 18x8.5 et35? Additionally, I will most likely go with the RCE Black lower springs in the future, and no lower than the Eibach Pro Kit, so 0.8"-1.0" drop at most. Will I still be clear in that case? Thanks for any and all advice.

Has anyone ran the Sparco Assetto Gara in the matte graphite silver? I have been looking at these recently in 17/7.5

They look good, but you would probably want to run a wider wheel than that especially at the 17" diameter, as a 17x7.5 would look small on a legacy unless you go with a 50 aspect ratio. I've been contemplating 17x9 with a 255/45 tire. Fat setup.

Is the OEM 7.5 on a 13 Limited? I was looking at 17x8 as well but struggled finding all season tires on Tire Rack.

such a beaten topic, but I hope you guys can help so I can get the wheels and post up a few pics!

I have the option of running 18x9.5 et40 or 19x9.5 et40 with 245/40 rubber.

I'm on KWs and have my fenders rolled.

What would you guys recommend and would I need to do any additional work to get the wheels in?

Thanks!!

That wheel offset is ideal especially if you already have the fenders rolled. Are you planning to run that tire size on the 18" or 19" wheels? Technically you should be good with either 245/40-18 or 245/40-19 because of the little bit of stretch on a 9.5 wheel, but just curious because those 2 diameters are a big difference in circumference. Ideally to stay close to stock diameter you would want either 255/40-18 or 255/35-19

I would prefer to stay with a bit of a meatier tire if possible. considering I am from NJ, it'd be a little more cushion for the potholes (I'd like to think / tell myself) although the bit of stretch. Just juggling with the idea of what will LOOK and also FEEL better when driving. This is the first time I'd be going wider... stretched or lower profile than 40. Also.... probably planning on keeping these on throughout the winter.... but if the winter will be as it was this past year, then they will likely stay on.

it all depends on how low you are. im on 18x8.75 +36 with 245/40/18 with no roll. I want to go up to 255/40/18 on my next set of rubber, we'll see if i need to roll then

Zee can you post or send me a pic of your car, I want to see what kind of clearance you have.

That's almost identical to my old setup. 19x9 +35 I ran a 255/35 (winter) and a 245/40(summer) tires. Depending how low you decide the front will more than likely require a very minor pull. The rears for piece of mind should be rolled, you shouldn't need to pull them at all. They should be dam near flush

If i want to avoid any fender modifications for now, would 245/40 be a better idea? Let's say with a 1.5" drop. Thanks for your help btw!
