Humble Rumble
So, after some more research, factoring in some of the suggestions in response to my last post, learning a lot more from other sections of the forums (suspension etc), and looking through tons of rims, I think I've finally figured out what I want (hopefully). 95% sure I'm going to go with the XXR 557 in Black/Milled w/ Milled Lip. 18x8.5 et+35, paired with 245/40ZR18 (Leaning towards Conti ExtremeContact DWS06, seen a lot of good reviews online and here). http://i.imgur.com/joWNbMC.png Pretty reasonable price per rim considering the size, around $150, ($123 if I had the money to by them for the 4th of July sale lol). Considered going for 19x8.5, but the price jump for both rims and rubber is just too much for me. Willtheyfit.com shows additional poke of just under an inch (25.7 mm), and just slightly higher on the speedo reading (0.55%). It seems to be a rather uncommon wheel, only been able to find a few pictures of cars wearing them, and even less in the finish I want. Found a picture of them on a silver Civic and a dark grey R32, and I think they look pretty good. Considering I want a number of black accents on my silver car, I think they'll compliment nicely. http://i.imgur.com/c2Ne2gl.png http://i.imgur.com/L3CU9zn.png Should I have any fitment issues with 18x8.5 et35? Additionally, I will most likely go with the RCE Black lower springs in the future, and no lower than the Eibach Pro Kit, so 0.8"-1.0" drop at most. Will I still be clear in that case? Thanks for any and all advice. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Humble Rumble
Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking to find out. Do you have a picture? I'd love to see how it sits. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Sal4424
Has anyone ran the Sparco Assetto Gara in the matte graphite silver? I've been contemplating 17x9 with a 255/45 tire. Fat setup.

klaudgrabmyass
such a beaten topic, but I hope you guys can help so I can get the wheels and post up a few pics! I have the option of running 18x9.5 et40 or 19x9.5 et40 with 245/40 rubber. I'm on KWs and have my fenders rolled. What would you guys recommend and would I need to do any additional work to get the wheels in? Thanks!!

What would you guys recommend and would I need to do any additional work to get the wheels in? Thanks!! That wheel offset is ideal especially if you already have the fenders rolled. Are you planning to run that tire size on the 18" or 19" wheels? Technically you should be good with either 245/40-18 or 245/40-19 because of the little bit of stretch on a 9.5 wheel, but just curious because those 2 diameters are a big difference in circumference. Ideally to stay close to stock diameter you would want either 255/40-18 or 255/35-19 http://www.willtheyfit.com GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold

Ideally to stay close to stock diameter you would want either 255/40-18 or 255/35-19 http://www.willtheyfit.com I would prefer to stay with a bit of a meatier tire if possible. considering I am from NJ, it'd be a little more cushion for the potholes (I'd like to think / tell myself) although the bit of stretch. Just juggling with the idea of what will LOOK and also FEEL better when driving. This is the first time I'd be going wider... stretched or lower profile than 40. Also.... probably planning on keeping these on throughout the winter.... but if the winter will be as it was this past year, then they will likely stay on. GhiaAddict
I would go 245/45/18 if you want a meatier tire, or 255/40/19 for the 19's.
klaudgrabmyass
with 255/40/19 I shouldn't have any rubbing issues or problems with hitting coils/fender/anything? that's my only concern with
GhiaAddict
I don't foresee issues with running a 255/40. Only issue could be how low you are.
ChrisCrash
If you're sticking with that 40 offset wheel then you'll be OK with a 255 unless you're lowered a lot.
wraedeohed
Any know if I'd need to get my fenders rolled with an 18 x 8.75" wide with a et35? GTEASER mentioned that the farthest I could go was et38, but I believe that was with a 9.5" wheel.
Zee199969
it all depends on how low you are. im on 18x8.75 +36 with 245/40/18 with no roll. I want to go up to 255/40/18 on my next set of rubber, we'll see if i need to roll then My "Build"

archangel29
Guys will 19x8.75 +35 with 255/40/19 fit fine without any fender modifications? Will be on coils, probably with a 1.5-2" drop. Thanks!
s2baru
That's almost identical to my old setup. 19x9 +35 I ran a 255/35 (winter) and a 245/40(summer) tires. Depending how low you decide the front will more than likely require a very minor pull. The rears for piece of mind should be rolled, you shouldn't need to pull them at all. They should be dam near flush
