Shooting for 10's on my daily driver

Recommended Posts

Update time!! I got a call earlier today from the shop that has my car. The motor is back together and being put into the car. Should be ready to go later this week. So far my impression of forced air technologies (the shop in Phoenix) is that this shop is great. They have maintained good communication with me and gave me a few options on what I could do considering the situation I was in. They have rebuilt the motor quickly and they replaced all work or broken parts all for about $3200. They had plenty of other car ahead of me but were gracious enough to make my car one of the top priorities. Earlier this year the same shop cleaned my block that I had built into the motor that most recently failed. I went to go pick the block up from them and the owner of the shop told me don't worry about a bill there is no charge. This shop has gone far beyond any other shop I've every dealt with. I'm impressed with the work I've seen done by them, and I can't wait to have my car back especially since it is now going to be reliable. Soon as I start my new job in Tennessee and get a savings built up I'm going to have these guys build me a nice 10sec or better motor. But if any of y'all reading this are ever in Phoenix and need subaru stuff go see F.A.T. great shop and nice professional staff.

...and I can't get my car today, gotta love bank errors that aren't in your favor.

Doesnt seem like anything has been :spin: Best of luck though mate.

Sounds like a sweet build! I hope this round of engines and turbos treat you better. Shame you didnt end up in SLC, I was hoping to see it at RMR ;)

The Porsche was really ugly so I took a picture of it, the owner tried to paint the air inlets to look like a Lamborghini, it was terrible

Well last night I actually stayed in flagstaff the car did ok on the climb up there, but I made it all the way to Amarillo Texas today, the motor has 1300 miles on it and is doing well. I got it retuned last night before I left Phoenix buy a guy that has a pretty nasty 62/62 legacy that turned into a submarine a few weeks ago... Any ways nice guy and a huge help his name on here is zorro, and if your reading this Travis thanks again I appreciate it Edited by jmorris6689

I've got a little over 2000 miles on the motor now and it feels good. I've asked alot of it so far since it was basically built and then hasent had a chance to really stop yet. I'm hoping to make it to nc tomorrow and tgen get it retuned
