So, I CUT MY SPRINGS. OOOOH.

I'm almost completely convinced that he's just a really elaborate troll.

My doubts about this theory vanished after posting the clearest answer to his question that I could muster... and then watching him repeat the question. :lol:

I've mostly just been watching from the sidelines, and it's been pretty comical how much attention he's been getting. Y'all been feeding him a pretty steady diet.

What do you mean "if" he's a troll? Is there really any question at this point? The way I see it, we're all going along with his trolling and bashing him because we're looking for entertainment.

Guys I'm planning to lower my car next year using my tax refund. I'm going with Tein H-Tech, I know it's recommended to also replace struts but is it required? Im not looking to cut springs, TurboDog your opinion is not needed. Im asking Real Subaru/Legacy enthusiast that know this information.

Actually, i've run h techs, not on this car. They are a decent value spring, and probably my second choice after pinks.. They put me on he bump stops in front and had virtually no drop in back. Had to add spacers to the springs in the front to get them to sit reasonably. Ymmv.

I don't know specifically on the lgt, but i'm guessing - on them. Mind checking?

So you are assuming that all lowering springs put the car on the bumpstops, when you have no relevant experience or data to back up your claim?

You just pulled this whole idea out of your ass because some other random car you ran H-Tech's on was somehow on the front bumpstops without lowering the rear?

Are you kidding me? And you genuinely think you are smarter than 99% of this board?

:lol::lol::lol:

So its cool to cut down your bumpstops by 1"+, but not cool to cut a 1/4 dead coil off springs? Riiiiight. Cutting down / shorter stops with low springs is a GREAT way to blow struts.

Look who has short bump stops.
