I was through that area around 8ish that night on the way to Manchester ... Dude, that's the one that screwed the rest of them... they filed some kind of bankruptcy so they could just close that one cuz it was losing money... and they ended up being shady about it, trying to work the loopholes, and they couldn't get away with it any more, so they told them to close all the ones in New England!! Providence (if that's the one your talking about) was one of the best Hooters in sales. That one store and the way the dumbass GM of New England Wings managed his business got ALL THE REST of them shut down. Talk about stupid... they didn't even tell the girls either, my GF went into work one day and they told her not to get dressed they were 'closed'... she was like: "WTF?"... One guy (dumbass from hereon in) owned all of them, under the company: "NEW ENGLAND WINGS". When he tried to 'work the loophole' to close one store in NY that was doing crappy, he ended up screwing himself because the way he filed for bankruptcy to close one store vs. the whole chain... Well he did that for like 6 months, playing the system's bankruptcy loopholes til finally when he went to court the judge was like: "Nope, no more BS" and they told him to shut them all down.
