My car just arrived! If you see a white wagon with MD plates, it's probably me.

Still more than my AVO 450 with the ultra-conservative (rich) tune. Wonder what the torque was. Torque > horsepower all day long.

Yeah let me know if you want to do the turbo swap in my garage, would be happy to help. Done it more times than I care to count :spin:

Anyone know of a "friendly" inspection station near Ft. Worth? I need to get our cars inspected ASAP.

Though a ways off, call AWD Tuning in Flowermound and see where they have their cars inspected.

OK AWDtuning's facebook page is saying that car is putting down 400whp with a GT30R! Is this guy on the forums???

Jealous!

I too saw it when I was down there a couple weeks back, and yes, he's on the forums. Via Keith, it belongs to Brooklyngenius. Very nice car.

Where are you in Fort Worth?

Downtown.

I emailed AWDTuning and got a recommendation for a place. It's a bit of a hike, but itll be nice to get the cars passed without hassle.

Don't ever visit AWD Tuning in person. You will see cars... nice cars. Ones that put ideas into your head. Like GT30 / GT35 ideas. You will hear about mods that you didn't know existed because nobody talks about them on the LGT forums... and you will be jealous.

I know of a place in Arlington, not sure how convenient that would be

Their name would help. Arlington is a bit closer, I think.

I'm used to hanging around some of the fastest Subarus in the country, and some of the most elaborate builds you've never heard of.

Thanks! It's a lot different here than MD, but I love it so far. Just need to get our cars inspected and get TX licenses and plates to make it official.

I haven't found a place that won't pass my car. Does yours shoot flames when you turn it over or something? As long as you're not throwing a CEL or something else out of the ordinary on OBD-II you should be fine. One of the inspection places I went to thought Subarus were made in Oz (thanks, Paul Hogan).

That's been my experience too. The little TX inspection shacks are the ones I've been to. When I took my bike there, they literally only checked my brake light and blinkers.
