Legacy Wagon
92.Legacy.SS: You're gonna love that short shifter. ricearu: I like that matte black finish. NickTej22: I put one of mine on my windshield and one on the side window (small ones) and of course the two on my mirrors...but they're getting pretty well owned from all the tree branches haha
92.Legacy.SS
lol yeah i love it so much the great thing is if somehow get tired of it i can make it back to stock length from gears lol
Legacy Wagon
I wouldnt. I've seen the throw of a regular compared to my RS and there's no way I'd deal with such a long throw. How much did you get it for and from what company?
NickTej22
I want a short throw but I'm afraid of losing some gears over time lol. I'll probably cut the stock one and put in some better bushings.

Legacy Wagon
Cutting the stock one wont do as well. I dont know about you guys, but I learned to drive the RS and it was my first manual so I guess I'm used to the shorter throws, but going back to the wide throws...I probably couldnt do it. Also, does the wiper mess with the sticker at all?
NickTej22
I'd just cut it for looks lol. No so far the wipers aren't screwing it up, supposedly it's a high quality vinyl. Got it on amazon lol.
Legacy Wagon
Nothing spells high quality quite like Amazon haha! That's cool man. I'd make sure to keep it clean though cause a little dirt under the edge and the wiper will rip it off.
92.Legacy.SS
I wouldnt. I've seen the throw of a regular compared to my RS and there's no way I'd deal with such a long throw. It's actually quite a tasteful sound. I'll wait to get more rumble sound when I do the front half of the exhaust.

ricearu
i haz logic puttin minez on! I told the dude to lob it off just below the rear cv, then put a straight pipe from there to the can. I had to move the muffler crooked 3 times before he caught on. I guess a lot can be lost in English to Spanish translation. He was probably thinking "this stupid gringo WANTS it crooked???" Baddog
That is my exact same plan to do to my Outback bumper. Color match the top and paint the bottom black again.

NickTej22
Thanks guys. I been picking at a sweet outback I found in lkq, so parts are dirt cheap. And the color matches, which is the best part.
