just wondering about those ra flaps lol did you get the ones that you drill the holes or just got ones for a impreza or something lol

They were meant for a GC impreza...just drilled holes, made a spacer out of some 1/2" hose for the rears...turned out pretty good.

First thing thing we did was this;

Which was a lot of fun, but we had some work to do, so next came this;

Then after a bit more work, we got it to look like this;

We got bored of sitting inside, so now we've done this;

And that's about where we're up to :) It's changed a little cosmetically since then - but I'll post more tomorrow :)

Since I got it I blacked out the grill, lost the hubcaps and spraybombed the steelies, had a custom catback made, took out the intake baffler and put a drop in high flow filter.

As well as about 1500 in repairs and restoring, so far.

Throwing it down

She's still running the stock RS engine, we've replace rear and front suspension with some Tenabe adjustables, wheels with some mud and snow equipped STI alloys, larger front sway bar, 4 pot front brakes and front alloy arms. She is now a different car to drive.

Nice wagon, Nick. I'd love to see some more recent pictures.

Also, those goldies are nice, Aim. I'd like to be able to afford them for my Legacy also.

I'm putting some 2 pot WRX brakes on my Legacy. How much did it increase your braking with the 4 pot. Also, how is it with the 2.5? Does it feel a bunch quicker? I just dropped a newer 2.2 in my the other day so it'd be a while before I put an RS motor in it.

Haven't actually really tested them as of yet, got a track day in 2 weeks. Will be able to tell you after then, the difference was unnoticeable on the grass for obvious reasons. And if the engine question is directed at me... I'm in New Zealand, everything we get is JDM, which means the RS's came with 2.0 turbo'd engines. The new engine is a JDM version 3 WRX STI engine, also a 2.0 turbo... and boy oh boy are differences huge. Can't wait until it's in!
