Saw this and thought it may have been you haha

I can see that. Looks good with the 98 Goldies too. I'm pretty jealous, not gonna lie.

How much was your total investment if you dont mind me asking?

So far, ~$13000 NZD, so approximately 10k USD? A lot of money for a student :p A friend and I are buidling it.

Hi everybody. I'm not new to Subaru's but I am new to old school Leggys. Picked this bad boy up from a buddy for CHEAP a few weeks ago:

PA190087

Auto Tranny, but I'm kind of stoked on the FWD mode and the 50/50 mod. I've already done valve cover gaskets, plugs, fuel filter + lines, and a desperately needed interior cleaning.

Little beat up haha The front side is easily fixable. The back...less so. You can smash it out with a hammer and a block of wood, maybe, but it'll never look right. It looks like it's all aesthetic issues though. As long as it runs and drives though that's all that matters :D Other than that the car looks cool, man! Welcome to the board.

Haha I just bought the car a few weeks ago, with all the dents and rust. Got a hell of a deal though, and everything seems to be mechanically sound. Except for the speedometer. Can someone point me to a good thread about fixing a dead speedo?

There is a cable on mine. Its just dangling above the tranny, and it's been that way since the car had 67,000 miles. My guess is upwards of 200,000 for actual mileage, but it's hard to say. The sensor is all rusty, and I'm not sure where it goes.

thanks, my friend really needed a door for his car so i gave him my extra one. no biggie, ill get another soon. car is getting painted in the summer so ill just fix it then.

recently ive been slowly stripping my black ss down to get ready for a build. so i swapped my leather seats, zerosports shift boot and a rare cf sti shift knob to the 93ss.

Dang...that thing's super clean!

And I've never seen the zerosports boot

either and I like that shift pattern plate.

Have you thought about putting the 22b

wheel in there? I think it'd look right at

home in your car...and I love 3 prongs haha

yeah, the 22B steering wheel might go in i just have to change over the column from the 91 first.

the only downside to changing the wheel is i lose cruise control which i use. so im debating on even putting it in there and just selling the 22B steering wheel.
