I Donated broknindarkagain Posted December 20, 2011 I Donated Share Posted December 20, 2011 I'm trying to fabricate a bolt on piece. The metal is pretty weak so there isn't a good place to tap either. I could weld em on, but i'd rather not... I don't have any corrosion protection I could use at the moment. spray paint. Its not visible so who cares -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." overspool
I'm not talking about on the outside of the weld. On the other side, it is in a frame rail, so it's not the easiest thing to get to. I have a "corrosion protection spray gun" at my shop in UT that can reach back inside frame rails.
overspool
What've we got as far as radiator fitment? same as GC8?
subikid90
I think the GC8's have a center upper hose, but I would imagine you could just run the GC8 upper rad hose. I have seen lots of people with wrx/sti swaps with the center upper hose. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
TexasLegacy2.5GT
Looked on here for a place to find a new rug on my BD legacy GT. Does anyone know where i can order one aside from the "stealership" ?
WESTcoast
I would check around on your local craigslist, I usually see them going for 20-30 bucks over the stealerships 50-60 pricetag. I bought mine off there for 20 bucks.

TexasLegacy2.5GT
I'm interested in buying new rotors from a guy here in town that are OEM rotors for a 2000 Legacy. I've read about the H6 swap for the rear rotors already and know that it is possible for them to fit if I buy some new calipers from Autozone. What my main concern is if the front ones will fit my car. Can a person on here let me know if that is a go or not?

If they are from a 2000 legacy non GT/GT they are 276x24mm which is the the same rotor size as your 99GT rotors, then you are good they are direct replacements. After 2001 they uped the size on the GT rotors to 295x25.5mm this requires the newer bracket and caliper to run the larger size

subikid90
Then it is the MSD from a dodge neon, IIRC it is a 97-04 neon coil pack. This upgrade DOES require wiring to make it work. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
