Relax! Don't get your panties in a bunch so quickly.

When you stated you wanted to refinish both the lips and barrels, as in two parts I assumed you may have thought they were a 3 piece wheel. No hard feelings.

Hell these wheels could have been mine long ago, as they were offered to me as a trade.

Slammed more than your girlfriend.

Yeah - these have been around the block and are just some greatt JDM Volk goodness. Have watched the ownership transitions a few times and they don't lose their value.

FWIW, to re-do the lip properly, they need to be decomposed and then the barrel chucked-up and spun and the lip dressed from the inside portion to the outside edge.

Local guys who are unfamiliar with two-piece (or three-piece) wheels, or unequipped to chuck-up the whole barrel, will propose just spinning it using the center bore, but then you run into the issue of clearing the barrel area beneath the spoke mounting points.

Typically, there's going to be galvanic corrosion underneath the spokes where they mount to the barrel, so if you're going to do it, do it right and disassemble everything first. Then make sure that the through bolts are rust/corrosion free too before reassembly. Just my experience.

UHaul trailer hitch

Fits BG/BK Sedan/Wagon

Sent you a PM on this.

Price updates! I also have all this stuff...

Invidia Quad-tipped catback exhaust V1 for 05-09 LGT (~15k miles) - $400

(2) 05 Legacy GT MOMO steering wheels Both are about a 6.5-7 out of 10. They have the normal wearing that seems to happen on all of the MOMO wheels - $60 ea.

E-brake boots They are both in poor shape, this is more for the plastic underneath so you can go and buy a Redline e-brake boot and install it on the plastic - $10 ea. - 1 sold

05 LGT E-brake handle 4 out of 10 as far as condition. This would be good if you wanted to put an aftermarket handle on your e-brake - $15

06/07 LGT E-brake handle 7 out of 10, some wear near the button but overall good shape - $30

(2) OEM Shift boots with plastic - $20 ea. - 1 sold

05 Legacy GT Center console Condition is about a 6 out of 10. Some scratches on the plastic cover piece, but could be wrapped in 3M dinoc or neffy wrap is so decided. - $30

05/06 Legacy GT PCV Assembly - $25

OEM Autodim/Compass mirror - $100

BNIB OEM LGT Wheel bearings Fronts R & L - $110 ea.

Everything is SOLD!

I have it posted in the non-car section, but figured it might be better to post it for the locals.

I have for sale my 2011 model year men's Trek Allant in size medium (for reference I am 5'9". Although this is a fantastic commuting and around town bike I have only ridden the bike twice in the past ~8 months. My commute to work consists of walking/riding the metro, so unfortunately I have ridden it very sparingly

The bike was purchased and shipped directly from the factory. It has a couple of very tiny marks from other bikes touching it while it was locked to a bike rack. Otherwise I would say it is at the very least in 9/10 condition.

All of the information on the bike can be found here:

http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes.../allant_2011/#

Actual pictures of the bike and accessories:

http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6186/...081ea1e9_z.jpg

http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6076/...dac0ec3f_z.jpg

Along with the bike I am including:

- Trek owners manual/CD

- (1) small blue/white/black 2007 model year Giro Atmos helmet (very light weight) and in perfect condition

Link to current version of the helmet:

http://www.giro.com/us_en/atmos.html

- Bike pump - Joe Blow Sport

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Topeak-JoeBlow-Sport-Floor-Bike/dp/B000FICB90] http://www.amazon.com/Topeak-JoeBlow-Sport-Floor-Bike/dp/B000FICB90[/ame]

- Bike lock setup

The bike is stored in Alexandria, VA but I would be willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

I am looking to get $500 obo for everything. I would also be willing to take offers on the helmet alone, but otherwise I would like to sell everything else with the bike.

I also have an "Amazing Bike Rack" which will be for sale after the bike is sold (just incase I need to haul the bike). The rack mounts behind the license plate and allows for two bikes to be mounted to a vehicle. Extra mounting plates can also be purchased, so that way the rack can be used on multiple vehicles. I will be looking to get $75 for the rack.

Anyone willing to trunk swap? '05 OBP with wing. Only thing is, wing and trunk could probably use a repainting if you're anal like me. The wing has scratches all across it like the PO was an idiot scraping ice off it or something. Trunk has a couple 3-4" white scratches that are somewhat deep. Willing to meet within reason and add money on top. Let me know!

So I thought I'd try posting here since I'm not really getting any interests on Nasioc. Here is from my orginal post there:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2197799&highlight=bnr

I have a practically brand new(all new seals) VF40 with 18g insides. I bought this from a good friend who sent it to BNR to get all the new seals. Nothing was wrong with it before it was sent to BNR, this was just done as a friendly gesture. Since I've had it it's been sitting it the same box. The reason I'm selling is because I'm in some financial need. http://bnrsupercars.com/

$750.00 OBO

Hey mods, I recently put up something for sale and I got a popup saying it would have to go through you guys first? How long of a wait is that?

Edit: Nevermind, I think I did it wrong.

The best way to contact me would be by my phone, but PM will work as well.

Price $1000, Local Pickup preferred. (I might drive a hour or so to deliver, like Baltimore for example)

I've got a practically new set of Rota Torque Wheels 17x8 +48. Mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 245/45-17 tires.

I bought these wheels and tires to use at the track, but it never did happen, and they are just sitting in my garage. I used these for only 1 week on my car when I first bought them in the spring.

I would use them as summer wheels, but the tires are the wrong diameter for my car and it causes my speedo to be off (I have an Outback XT).

I can bring these out to the Monday Meet in Kingstowne.

I also have this posted on nasioc:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2233880

PM Me if you're interested. I don't know how often I'll check this thread.

Here are a couple of pics. There are no scratches on any of the wheels. And the tires are so new the "Hankook" writing on the tread is still there.

And if you do part it out think long and hard about the process because it's involved and requires a lot of work on the seller's part to list everything, check and post in other member's WTB threads, etc, move it from the available list to the sold list, mark who it's been sold to at what price, etc. Not at all like a FS thread. Read-up on the process in the Full-Part Out Sticky at the top of the 05-09 MC sub-forum.

But why though? I'm still trying to figure out why a part out thread must be so much more complicated than a FS thread with a bunch of parts...
