05LGTLtd
Real brakes (looks like brembo's on concept), real seats (with harness mounting points from factory, SPT harness bar?), real gauges (Really how hard is it to put a decent oil pressure and water temp gauge on a cluster?), and a push button start (gimmicky, but a nice touch esp if you can leave the fob in your pocket and the scion doesn't have it) might help justify the price some while staying the spirit of a "drivers car". Personally I would want the wing to be optional. All I need now is a hill holder and a center passing light...
NumbersGuy
I really like this, might have to consider. Hopefully, Subaru puts this into production and doesn't change a thing. The wing would have to be optional, I prefer subtle spoilers!

05LGTLtd
http://www.subaru-global.com/11la/media/layout/brz-concept.png Having the STi logo here disappoints me a bit. Number one, it leaves the possibility of upgraded powertrain options questionable. What would they call the turbo version? Second, throwing the STi label on it tells me they are worried about selling them at this stage and need all the hype they can muster prior to the tokyo premier. If they are not going to STi label the BRZ, as this image indicates, then they are just playing games. Oh, and add a decent rear diff to the above list of standard items. All I need now is a hill holder and a center passing light...

StoplightAssassin
That may work overseas, but we never got any of the 'S' cars here Maybe itll be Type R It's never too late to start. Most of the Subaru faithful know what they are. It'd make them feel really special. Although since the "S" cars were all limited production runs, it might be a little weird. Spec _ would work though

There are plenty of production Subaru's that received STI designation without power bumps. And don't forget about the Impreza NA concept STI. 197 hp and 145 lb-ft torque. http://www.subaru.jp/as2008/e_car/details/img/ph_details8_01.jpg STI is more about braking and handling than it is about power. eehpeehthreeh
they look so EVO-ish to me... Oh, I was mainly referring to the lighting accents within the headlight assembly. Though, looking back at the more recent spy shots, it almost looks like those lights were on the test model as well. That may also explain why they had them covered like they were. http://wot.motortrend.com/files/2011/10/Subaru-BRZ-front-three-quarter.jpg

Knight705
looks nice. i wonder if the wing and front lip will be added back for the turbo'ed STI model that will most likely come after the release of the BRZ. although i wish they didn't have to raise the damn car to near truck status. i mean it is a sports car, people will understand if it is lower than usual cars.
