azzkkr
So do you have 18x8 +48 offset or 18x8.5 +44 offset? Its a +48 ----- 18x8 you have to remove the rubber strip under the Fender though

a.lim
Hey Dan I got a question. Overall in fitment, will a 235/40 +44 be closer to the fender or a 245/40 +48 be closer? Just curious to know just incase it does rub because I'm running 245/40 on +48 18x8.5 right now.

RIPjeep2002
I've decided to go with 225/40/18. Not that much smaller than 235 and with the amount of bumps around here and with how flush these rims sit I want no rubbing.

Are you lowered running the 235's? And no issues rubbing at all in full lock or close to full compression? Hmm, may need to rethink this... naimouasta
yep! lowered on rallitek springs + koni's. no rubbing. i did take the rubber lining thing off the rear wheel wells though. jxjjang, of course i can't guarantee that they will not rub, but considering that my wheels are the same size and offset as your gravels, i'm pretty sure they shouldn't rub, but again no guarantee. heres my car. i've whored this picture out 2 times today already LOL. can't wait til spring/summer comes around so i can get it clean this again. http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/8759/22681165.jpg

I have read in places that the dunlops run a little wider than other tires at that size which is why I am concerned about running the 235. How much smaller at the 225's to the 235's? VirtualReality
Just had them put on this afternoon. It actually rubbed with the rubber strip on, but seems fine after I removed it. I had 4 stock wheels with 225 tires on the car at the time, so that's probably why it rubbed. I'm lowered on JDM SpecB Bilstein rev.A with STi pink for auto wagon. Here are some pics of hyper black Rota Gravel 18x8 with 235/40/18 tires. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd6/VirtualReality_photo/New%20Shoes/DSC_8948.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd6/VirtualReality_photo/New%20Shoes/DSC_8951.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd6/VirtualReality_photo/New%20Shoes/DSC_8969.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd6/VirtualReality_photo/New%20Shoes/DSC_8987.jpg
RIPjeep2002
^^^Wow. The 235/40 does look nice on those. And no rubbing issues at all once the rubber strip was removed?
