Official jdm conversion/aftermarket body thread

You just had to ask, huh?

As much as it pains me to say it, yes I would part with the bumper. Unfortunately it's just not in the cards for me to change from the A-C to the D-F in the foreseeable future, and despite my best efforts, the wife will not capitulate and buy an '08-'09 3.0R as a family car (yet).

Here is the sale thread. I live about 45 minutes from Pelham. You could pick it up today if you wanted. :)

OK... so I figured out what FMIC will work with the D-F JDM SpecB/S402 front end... The RacerX fits perfectly, minus the beam. This had me scratching my head because the other option would be the FMS/SSAuto/TXS setup (which I just had Powder Coated; go figure) but it will not fit without significant trimming of the bumper. Theres absolutely no way in hell that I am going to trim the JDM bumper. None.

I did find that that the BEAM for the FMS/SSAuto/TXS setup DOES fit under the JDM bumper.... so... looks like I'll be running the FMS Beam and RacerX FMIC! Also, the EDM fenders (I assume Jdm as well) are wider than USDM... I'd say by about 1/4 inch! THAT was a nice little surprise!
