UPDATE: I love this intake. My car sounds great, has better throttle response, and my gas mileage has improved slightly. Still none of the CEL problems or idle roughness.

I thought the gas mileage was a big deal, because it seems like I actually hammer on my car more now, so that i can hear the intake and feel the acceleration.

Do you have the short ram or the cold air?

I love this as well, after I put it on gas mileage went up, so now I can drive more aggresively and have around the same mileage

The fact that's made in Eastern Canada actually gives me more peace of mind. They have harsh winters there so their products have to withstand extreme conditions

the cat-back is probably killing your MPG because the piping is too big lol. For a 2.5i just do mufflers/axle-back and call it a day. Can't wait to install my AVO's :)

Meh, not worth the cost. I'm sure it can't sound that bad, and it should sound a little different. 2.5L flat-4 compared to the average Honda's 1.6L inline-4

I hope the group buy for the UEL started by GEE-OTTO goes through, I'd probably jump on that instead.

Well when you put them post some sound clips id like to hear it because I've looked into the avo axle backs on rallitek's page, I've heard sound clips of the cobb axle back on the 2.5I and it didn't sound too differant from stock

There's a sound clip on Rallitek's site, though keep in mind it's on the JDM 2.0. On our 2.5 it should sound similar, if not meaner/deeper. I'll post a clip anyway once I get mine on

Money's tight right now so I'm not sure. The previous owner had to cut off the flanges for uninstallation for some reason so I have to get a shop to re-weld them.

Yea, it's about time the rear end got some love...that sounded so wrong http://legacygt.com/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif

a local LGT guy is trading me XO2 cans for my springs, i wasn't planning on doing any exhaust work to the car but if he's gonna throw me a offer for them, why not

I hope they dont rust after 1 winter, I've heard a case of that happening :spin:

Everyone i've talked to about them has said treat them with a high temp clearcoat paint or high temp paint in general on them. If anything i'd take them off in the winter.

Ohh I see, well doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. Im gonna get a custom y-pipe done, so maybe that will alleviate some of the fitment issues I may have. Thanks tho. I don't even remember seeing the Perrin emblem on my exhaust tips.

I have a injen short ram intake, with a full catless exhuast including obx EL headers and greddy catback and it sounds nice and feels like I have gained quite a bit of power. I ran xo2 mufflers with the rest of the exhuast stock a while ago and they sound pretty nice.
