Reminds me of a hamburger I used to get in an Australian place in Hong Kong. Burger, ham and a fried egg on top. After eating fish and vegetables for a week, nothing like a heavy does of cholesterol to keep you fit.

What I made today:

Started with Ham, Mayonnaise, Sambal Oelek, Roasted onions and Flatbread.

Spread the mayonnaise onto the flatbread.

Add ham and Sambal.

Add the roasted onion.

Make a roll.

These are actually very good to make for parties.

Add a suitable beverage and you are good to go.

Ham can of course be replaced by just about any meat you like that's suitable - like roast beef or turkey. And if you can't find Sambal you may use chili sauce or something similar. Even Dave's Insanity sauce may work, but then you have to like it extremely hot!

I smoke a pork shoulder injected with sweet baby ray's bbq sauce, and a mustard chili rub for about 15 hours.

then I pull it all apart, slather it in more sauce, toss it in-between some roll, add cheddar cheese, then enjoy

Wow!

I don't know why, but I think you should call that new sandwich a "wrap"

Brass Key from Breadman's in Chapel hill. Sorta like a club with slaw.

Ham, sliced pears, Brie and Dijon on grilled sourdough or french bread.

Cuban! Roast pork, Ham, Swiss, mustard and pickles, on pressed hard roll.

Chicago Reuben, substitute mix of Mayo/dark mustard/horseradish for thousand Island dressing. ( I also recently found out that someone in the world invented has the Reuben egg roll.. hmmmm.)

All I need now is a hill holder and a center passing light...

Oh and a local bar has a "Virginia's Finest" sandwich that has Virginia Ham and fried oysters, served with tartar sauce.

I've been contemplating a down east cuban: NC sliced Ham, Yellow Pork BBQ, vinegar based slaw with fried pickles...
