bmx045
well, i brought afr's back up to 11.2, feels better, here's my lv. knock is almost nil. i think Rifts said if it doesn't knock you might as well be driving a honda, lol. Either way, im at base timing at 11.99, kca 2.11 in 3.0+ loads, iam 1, i tried to bring kca up to 3.16 in the areas in question but ended up learning -2.8* so back to kca 2.11 it is, im pretty much at my threshold. not sure if i should revert to oem avcs and try upping the timing again or just leave it alone. boost is steady at 20psi regardless, i dropped timing to 1.76 in the area of that knock now Edited February 23, 2012 by bmx045
Infamous1
hmmm...I am starting to think my 11.6 target on E85 may be too rich. I'd say so....
SeeeeeYa
I didn't want to say it. But, considering I am running that on 93.....
ericem
any input on my learning view? My idle is ok, engine runs ok, but seems hesitant. Any ideas? I am still looking for a damn vacuum leak. It is probably my turbo inlet, something tells me I should replace it.
Mega Users seabass07 Posted February 29, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 29, 2012 That's a lot of knock.
ericem
Soo any input as to reasons for this? I guess vacuum leaks more so than boost leaks right??
ericem
Also I have done learning view on a bunch of cars and they all pulled fuel. For some reason it is all positive quiete a bit I would think. Also want to add when I reset my ecu takes many cranks for it to start. I think there is a major vacuum leak would that make sense? Mega Users seabass07 Posted February 29, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 29, 2012 When you reset the ecu, you need to give it 10 or 20 seconds before starting it. I think it's just rebooting, but it will just crank until it's ready. I just wait until the seat belt chime goes off to start the car. I'm not too sure what's going on. If it was a major vacuum leak, you'd be pegged at 15% in the af learning areas.

bmx045
what? i dont get it. self gapping iridiums is not a good idea as the electrode is super delicate. go to the god damn dealer and get oems and put them in. it's not complicated.
