Wow from Jon's 350z to Hanger. :-X crazy

Oh shit is Jon going to be there too? I've been so busy I haven't been paying attention. I'm going to have to head up to Yimi sooner, then!

I'm just glad I can actually make it back from SEMA in time for this.:)

Paul,

what's the short-take on your rotated setup? whatever it is.....you are a patient man, my friend.

It was done and waiting for me to pick up, but I was a bit too busy and Dan ended up putting it on another car. He's getting another batch from his production facility and I'll pick it up after I get home from SEMA.

If I can use Yim's tools and get some directions on what needs to be done I can do all the work.

1. Remove your turbo head shield. Since yours is already cut, there should only be 3-4 10mm bolts.

2. Remove the 4 accessible 14mm nuts holding the DP to the turbo.

3. Get under the car and take off the last 14mm nut from the underside of the DP. Disconnect the O2 sensor at its' harness connector.

4. Remove the 14mm nut from the DP to tranny hanger.

5. Disconnect the DP from the CBE and remove the DP from the car.

6. Remove the five 14mm nuts that hold the turbo to the UP.

7. Remove the two 14mm nuts/bolts that hold the UP to the exhaust manifold.

8. Remove the 14mm nut holding the passenger side motor mount to the front crossmember.

9. Jack up the motor till you can fanagle, rotate, pursuade the uppipe out.

10. Rinse and repeat with the new uppipe in reverse order.:)

Hey Paul if you guys don't fill up all the time spots will you have enough time to install my springs?

Just wondering, cuz i'll prolly be there : )

Nope. As I've said on a number of occasions, we do not do not work on cars during a dyno day, other than for light stuff like an oil change. As quickly as cars come on and off the dyno, the staff's time is spent entirely on strapping and unstrapping cars from the dyno. It doesn't seem like that big a deal, but trust me, there is plenty of time involved and my back is sore the next day. We simply do not have the time to work on a car for a couple hours continuously.
