Garandman
Went to a Penguin Racing course today at NHIS and rented a Ducati 900 Super Sport. Fun! http://www.geocities.com/vstromboston/ducati900.jpg Who Dares Wins スバル
Garandman
Been riding to work everyday the forecast isn't bad. Fuel consumption per week commuting to work in the Subaru H6: 12 gallons. Fuel consumption per week commuting to work on the V-Strom: 4 gallons. More fun and F OPEC! Who Dares Wins スバル
coxx
might as well check in here. Just picked this up last week http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h213/Rcoxx/ninja.jpg 94 ZX-6 Ninja. I got it used for cheap. This is the 1st bike I've ever owned & I haven't rode regularly for years. I was smart & took the MSF course though & I've been takin it out after work & shakin off the cobwebs on my riding skills "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! coxx
Nice! Perfect way to get started. thanks I forgot how much fun it is. I figured a cheap bike is good to start. If I make some mistakes on it I'm not gonna be all that upset like I would be on something nicer/newer. It's also an older 600 so it's not as powerful as the new ones. Definitely powerful enough to get hurt though if you're not careful. "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! 05GT Guru
Just picked up a 2001 cbr 600f4i, custom painted candy tahitian blue with a two brothers exhaust and power commander. Its my first sport bike and its a blasty blast. I love getting 50mpg on a 10 second vehicle
SubLo
Maybe I should start the panzy thread but I'm fittin' to pick up a used Vespa LX150 for commuting 15 - 20 miles or so into the city as I'm working a lot now and moving further out into Queens. I keep eyeballing them all over Manahattan sidewalks and it looks like a great option. I don't want to commute on my Interceptor all that much. I fear theft and more so, damage in the drinking areas where I work. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...

They're parked all over up & down the blocks outside my building & all over lower manhattan. I just wouldnt want to ride if over the triborough though "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! I just wouldnt want to ride if over the triborough though Yep. Here in midtown too. Though illegal to park on sidewalks, the PD seems extremely tolerant. I've never seen one ticketed or towed. Just about everyone does the "Velcro license plate" trick - taking it with them when they park. I do fear imminent crackdowns at some point however. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...

They did do a crackdown here outside one of the buildings. This guy said all the tickets would get thrown out though b/c they'd rather have a bunch of vespas out there than a bunch of cabs. 05GT Guru
Hmm, it must just be illegal where you are, because around here and in most states anything under 50ccs is treated like a bike, which means you can use bike racks and or the sidewalk. also with a 50cc or less scooter you dont need a motorcylce liscense, just a drivers id.
