Tommyh
might be a site problem. Bosco was mentioning that he was having a similar problem, and Tide is doing some sort of upgrade. I'm not having any issues, I think it's user error:icon_bigg Martin Luther - "Who loves not women, wine and song remains a fool his whole life long." acooper5
the black leather seems much more stiffer then the cushy comfortable 05 leather BUT the blue center sections are very soft and comfortable and you dont SLIDE! So it gives somewhat of the feeling of being hugged in like racing seats but alot more comfortable. Semper Fi.
BigT
Hey I got my backseats in tonight, but I don't understand the wiring solution you came up with for the power for the front seats. Can you explain it to me? -Tom
acooper5
Tom, If you look at the power connectors for the front driver seat (the power and the heating element for the passenger is the same) it is different from the one that actually is on the car. I think you already knew that. -- But the connectors are still male and female ends, esstentially they would match up if the clip was the same. In order to bypass the clip, I took the flat 14-16 guage wire connectors and put them in the appropiate slots. Just 2 wires were needed. 2 male ends and 2 female ends. I dont know if you understand what I am saying but I can take a picture of the wore connectors I used if you need me too and that may help you understand better. Let me know. Also wants you get to the passenger seat, the airbag wires and the weight sensor wires are different. They are going to be needed to swapped from the old seats. I plan on doing that in the next few weekends. Let me know if you get to it first. Semper Fi.

BigT
Acooper: Thanks, I think I understand. I'll try to get it done pretty soon. I'll defineely keep you updated if I get to the airbag thing earlier than you. Thanks! Any plans to sell you stock seats? I really want a black interior. I hate my taupe. Drew I'm down for a sale, just let me get the new interior straightened out. We can do it at a meet if you want.
NewLegGT67
The seats look great. Now you are set!! It is cool to have a mod that almost no one else has. Well at least for a short time. After this thread I think a lot of people will swap for the spec b seats if they could get some. I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. Waxiboy
By the looks of it, the rears would also fit a wagon. Can anyone confirm?

BigT
where can I buy '07 spec B seats? From someone with an 07 Spec B Sorry man, had to do it. I found them in the classified section here. Phoenix Racing was parting out two of them, hence the two sets. I suppose you could try to get them from SOA, but probably at one hell of a premium. acooper5
i dont think they will work on a wagon unless there is a crossbar to keep the backseats from rolling all the way around. I havent looked in the back of a wagon. But I thought wagons had the fold down rears already? Is it the look you are after? Then yes the fronts will definitely work but again...I am not sure of the backs. Semper Fi.
DukeTrout
Wagons do not have a bar across the back. That would interfere with the awesome cargo space. The seats latch along the upper sides. BTW, great swap, acooper! I'm thinking about dropping an 07 spec.B driver's seat in the 05 OBXT, since my wife and I switch off driving it so often. She's 5'0" and I'm 5'10", so that's a lot of adjustment between drivers. Please update us if you get the memory seat function working. That's my primary interest. Ich bin echt viel netter, wenn ich nuechtern bin. Echt!
BigT
So I got the drivers side seat in today. Pretty easy considering. I was able to switch the clips. But now the passenger seat seems to be pretty tough. acooper: How did you get the seat belt off and where did you put it? Also, any ideas about the wiring? My 05 vacation pics don't seem to have any info on it
acooper5
ya wiring for the passenger seat is going to be very hard! SO what I am going to use is the power rails from an 05 I have on the way (you can take them off your car) and just swap the bottom seat cushions. Thus you will still be able to us all the power and the airbag and the seat sensor module from the car. Otherwise we would have to splice airbag and seat sensor wires and I dont really want to do that. I am just going to swap my rails as soon as the 05 power ones get to me. For now, I extended the seat belt and attached it to the passenger right rear mounting bolt for the seat. That will work without a problem. But again since you already have the 05 power seats I would just suggest swaping the bottom rails and the bottom seat cushions and everything should work perfect! Semper Fi.
