PGT
Who thinks their advertising company needs to get some new blood? they have new blood They stole the brilliant VP/Marketing from MINI Usa about a year ago. This campaign is the result. MINI has the best nontraditional marketing of any automaker out there. Wait and see what more comes down the pike. Gire
I think those commercials are great. Peter Stormare is the king. Anyone else realize that his Euro-ness is all over the place? Any time hollywood needs the token bizarre European they call in Peter? The guy does German, Russian, Swedish, French- everything! My favorite is his Nihilist/ techno bandmember/ porn star character from the almighty Big Lebowski. Classic.
legacy2005
lol, i like these better then the "fast" commercials, especially since they destroy ricer cars. Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage

fzanetti
Those commercials are really great, and very creative and really new ideas!!!! Look at Mini commercials, they were very creative and brilliant as well, I do think AVG needed a boost, once their sales are not so great, with the exception of the Touareg and some other models (Diesel ones basicaly)... jazzymt
I think they're comical, but not very effective. If subaru starts making commercials like that I'm gunna start worrying. PGT
it's all about BUZZ. I've seen multiple threads on multiple car boards about it and have heard about it from non-car people here at work. What's Subaru done to get noticed? N A D A
LegGTLT
The second one is my favorite. "You get an F" and "Time to un-pimp your riiiiide"... f'n hilarious! Yes, they are wierd, they don't really focus on any particluar part besides German engineered... but like PGT said, here we are all talking about it. P.S. PGT- Did I miss an announcement when you became a mod again? Oh well, welcome back I guess! Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. iceman
it's all about BUZZ. I've seen multiple threads on multiple car boards about it and have heard about it from non-car people here at work. What's Subaru done to get noticed? N A D A Come on, the "Everyday is a Winding Road" commercials touting the Legacy as the most crash-worthy sedan out there is quite inspiring...to my mom. I have to admit, I started looking at the Legacy 2 years ago when the advertising was about how it was faster than the BMW 330 Xi. Getting out of an SUV and wanting something sportier, would I have looked at the Legacy with the current ad campaign(or lack thereof)? Doubtful... Goin' to Carolina in my mind...and in my car on the 16th!

Penguin
"You know what we're gonna do now?" "No." "Un-pimp your auto." That is f'ing brilliant. They show thier car in an attractive light, and make fun of ricers at the same time.
Jedi Pimp
They are funny but appeal to only a limited audience of the young teen/adult male consumer. What they gonna do about the Passat, Jetta, Turdegg, etc?
SBT
Had me laughing but not enough to think very long or hard about it. Except the ricer bashing part (which they think is effing hilarious), my family is kinda "meh" when they see it. And Peter Stormare is at his best in these kind of roles.
