You all are lazy and need to label them sammiches, I'm looking at you right now Laz.

I'm guessing that's some sort of Prime Rib- Sriracha concoction, not bad.

Please circle the cheese on that sammy........................ :iam:

The sandwich is prepared open-faced and placed in the middle of the bread, then folded shut once it's assembled. You can see in this cross section that the cheese was placed above the meet layer, so it gets nice and melted as it travels through their conveyor oven. I typically eat their sandwiches sideways like a taco, and they are delightful.

There is cheese on it. Provelone to be exact.

Genoa salami, capicola, pepperoni, ham, provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, V&O and Italian seasoning. (Pickleman's Deli in STL)

No mortadella? Mayo? No pickle? Italian seasoning?

GTFOout of here with that millennial nonsense.

Pickles are included with every sandwich, they provide their own recipe. Also Pickles are for ******* Communists, so it's no surprise you bring them up.

Capicola, Genoa and Mortadella? You nuts? Your sandwich game is wack, to use the millennial vernacular.

Under the "structural rebel, ingredient purist" definition, yes. Although I would argue that's closer to "ingredient neutral," possibly trending towards "radical sandwich anarchy."

(I have posted that before, but it's still relevant)

Also, sushi burritos. We finally have a poke place that sells those nearby.

There was actually a court ruling on this

In the United States, a court in Boston, Massachusetts ruled in 2006 that a sandwich includes at least two slices of bread[1] and "under this definition, this court finds that the term 'sandwich' is not commonly understood to include burritos, tacos, and quesadillas, which are typically made with a single tortilla and stuffed with a choice filling of meat, rice, and beans."[17] The issue stemmed from the question of whether a restaurant that sold burritos could move into a shopping centre where another restaurant had a no-compete clause in its lease prohibiting other "sandwich" shops.

So is a sub sandwich not a real sandwich then?
