Rear adapter rotors and brackets, short shifter, and all sorts of driveline bushings and mounts arrived from KNS Brakes. I highly recommend doing business with them. Nick was very helpful getting my order sorted out.

I'm getting antsy to install everything. Still waiting on the Brembo refurbishment and ceramic coating on the header.

Changed the oil & filter on the Baja today. Plastic splash shield was MIA so installed a Primitive skid plate after yet another round of broken bolt removal and thread repair.

Just enough clearance for a Fumoto F105S.

A couple good smacks to the skid plate from the top with a hammer will give you a bit of comfort clearance... I gave my turbo an extra half inch that way after cutting out the spacer at the rear to increase ground clearance, which made things tight in the front.

I am not worried about it at all. It should be just fine as is.

Ceramic coating is done!

Machine work on rear Brembos is done. Hayworth needs to finish up the machine work on fronts then they're off to powder coating before coming back to him for new dust boots, o-rings, etc.

Jesus! That is why I am so scared of getting another car.

It just never stops.

"So, how much did it cost for your car to be undriveable ." - Stephen (very close friend)

Nearly all the shifter and driveline mounts and bushings are in. We could only work on it for about 5 hours due to other commitments.

For anybody who plans on installing TiC shift linkage bushings you will need their linkage update part. They claim that all 2006+ 5-speed trans do not need the update...not the case on the Baja. Not only is the stock U-joint "not serviceable" but the TiC bushings are too large to fit the U-joint anyway. We used a grinder and punch to separate the U-joint and then welded it back once we realized it was a no go due to bushing size.

No power mods were installed today...so sad. Will have to get back to it in a couple of weeks.

Shifting is much improved. Everything is firmed up.[emoji106]

This pic just did things to me. Too bad it all couldn't go in.

Too bad we couldn't get the power parts on. This car definitely needs an exhaust.

My girlfriend of over a year, who knows nothing about cars, commented that the car sounds very different as soon as she got in it the other day. Until then I would have said that she was not the most observant when it came to anything car related. I was actually thinking that there may be a small chance that she wouldn't even notice a new exhaust - ha not a chance!

Powdercoating them orange right? ;)

Haha you would love that. But no going with a silver. Should look like these but with red Brembo logos.

I expect to have the Recaro Speed by next week. The vendor was expecting to have it this week then they'll ship it out.

The sad news is that it will be about a month before the power mods are installed. My friend who has access to a lift dislocated his ankle last week so he's out of commission for about 4 weeks. I find it hard to get motivated enough to spend all day on my back under jack stands -- damn, I must be getting old! I'm going to wait until he can at least hobble around before we get all the fun parts installed.

In the mean time I might focus on getting a few things done on the Legacy.
