Seat is in. Seat belt doesn't fit for shit which makes it nearly impossible to adjust seat position. I will take it out this weekend and bend the seat belt mounting bracket and arm some more. Edited by ebo03

Powder coat was $360. Seals were $15 each x 12. Dust boots were $9 each x 12. O-rings for rear calipers were $3 each x 4. General caliper rebuild labor was $300.

Replacing the seals and dust boots is an easy job. I've done that myself before. The main reason I sent these off was the bleeders were all stripped. It's not easy to find a good machinist who is willing to install Time Serts in the bleeders.

Pitty these things didn't ever come out 2 Australia cause i'd serioulsy considered one of those if they existed out down under, closest to that is the Brumby or the Brat i believe its also know as in other countries........

They weren't really very big sellers here. Kind of an oddball in the world of Subaru quirkiness. They were essentially a Gen3 Legacy Wagon but they kept making/selling them for a few years after the Gen4 came out.

Unforunatelly for me its usally those "odd balls" in most cases that usually catch my eye as for something different from the rest of the crowd deal.

Yeah I can relate. I often ask myself why do I like the Subarus with no aftermarket interest. I have an EJ with a low mount turbo (5th gen LGT) and a damn Outback wagon with a tiny truck bed (Baja). Modding these cars leads to a custom self made FMIC. Still can't believe I took the time and effort to do that project.

From what I can tell I'm going to have some unexpected fun trying to mount the rear Brembos on this Baja.[emoji57]

well i guess if thats where your interest lies and you have funding, time, paitence ect you'll go ahead with projects if it seems worthwhile to you i suppose. Same case with modding my 5th gen lgt.....

Car/truck was on the lift yesterday to map out a custom exhaust. Should be on somewhere between March 24-28.

My guy was slammed this week. Same for next week too. Shooting for week of April 3 now.
