NYtoVT
Check your tire rotation, if they're still on the car; the driver's rear is mounted backwards!! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160215/c3d15934008008c42fa90474d3f49b53.jpg
SubieN8
I will do that this weekend. I am not used to directional tires. Seems to ride okay. Thanks for the heads up
evo171
I'm eyeing this Enkei TY-5 in Pearl Black that should be available summer '16. This its the same as what Simonsez posted. Size chart is here. If I stay 18" and go for 245/45R18 tires, will 18x8.5, insert 50 work (seems close to the WRX offset 55 some of you guys have on). If I go 19" with 245/40R19 tires, will 19x8.5, insert 35 work? http://i65.tinypic.com/168c5eh.jpg Edited February 24, 2016 by evo171
tigger73
Sizes that fit/work: 18x8.5 ET45-55 (WRX/STI size - quite a few running these) 19x8.5 ET45-55 (same offset as you're running same width as above) 19x9 ET50 If you run 19x8.5 ET35 you may need to roll your guards to avoid rubbing. These will sit out 20mm more than the WRX/STI fitment of ET55. Edited February 24, 2016 by tigger73 Tigger73's MY15 2.5i build

vpdjc
What size exhaust tips are those, SubieN8? Quick question for you, the factory 18"s are 50 series, any reason why you went with 45 series instead, wouldn't that make the overall diameter smaller? I'm thinking about getting a set of those and want to make sure I have a clear understanding of the sizes. Thanks! SubieN8
^ Barely noticeable really. The WRX wheels I have are 8.5. The stock Limiteds are 8. There's not as many tire choices for the 8.5 wheel as there are for the 8. So I went with an inexpensive summer tire that was brand name and looked good. I could have done 235/50/18 but that limited my choices and I wanted a wider tire.

ammcinnis
I was pretty sure they're 7.5. You are correct. All 2015/2016 Legacy alloy wheels are 7.5 width. (Outbacks are all 7.0.) It's not clear whether the steel wheels supplied for base-trim Legacys are 7.5 or 7.0. Source: 2015 Legacy/Outback Factory Service Manual, page WT-2. Grnlantern1
I am sorry, I believe you are correct. Yes the Limited is a 7.5.. When i swapped my Wheels i used the stock tires didint have any issues, but when I get my New Wheels i plan on using 225/45/19 General GMax AS03's.. I didnt want a 245 just because they might interfere with my Fenders when I lower the Bags.. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

You'll be 100% fine. kayslay's wheels are same spec (19x8.5) with +35 offset so "poke" 15mm more than the ET50 you're looking at and he had no rubbing at stock height. If I was getting wheels again I'd go with a 19" as there's still a lot of tyre sidewall with 18's. No, offset is too high. Maybe on a gen5 but us gen6's have a lot more room under our guards.
