Anyone with wheel bearing issues?
Paradox replied to T4Fun's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
The repair should be short, only about 20-30mins tops, to swap them out. If it has to be pinpointed, maybe a little longer. They should be able to check it with a lift, spinning each one freely to see which. If not, take it on a test drive to play it out for them. In my case, they couldn't tell (or refused to verify) it on a lift, but I insisted they drive it, once it was 25MPH+, you can clearly hear it howling and they changed it, took 20mins. -
2015 Legacy Bulb Replacement
Paradox replied to CT2015Legacy's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
Yes, the High Beams are used as the DRL's. Using LEDs as your high beam replacements will have the high beams at just about full brightness, no power/lumens reduction as compared to halogen bulbs. -

I'll try later, if I remember about it. Or not. Maybe. -

I made a copy of my nav SD card early last year, just in case anything were to happen to my OEM one, wasn't about to pay a few hundred for a new one. I haven't tried copying it over to another microSD card to test it out, but I do know I was able to copy all files off of it onto my HDD. But I can't remember if I did anything special to copy it or not, I just remember I was able to get it all copied off. -

I heard the same thing from a SOA engineer last year, when they saw I had LED's installed for the cabin lighting. But, he was telling me they were only having problems with the LED's causing feedback and at times blowing, the ECU and/or the BIU on WRX's on their (then) MY15 vehicles. He said there wasn't anything for non-WRX's with that same problem, but informed me of it just in case I had the same, which I haven't so far and I got LEDs for headlights and cabin lights as well. They might be mixing issues with the WRX with the Legacy and just cross swapping the solutions, without actually digging further. -
Weak/Bad design windshield?
Paradox replied to diesel4982's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
If one heavily relies on EyeSight or uses it as a significant clutch, why take the risk or chance that an aftermarket windshield might not be specifically designed (either glass, curvature, composition, etc) with the stereo cameras? And how does one know it meets specs? By asking the aftermarket manufacturer, who is specifically listing it as compatible with EyeSight? Of course they will say it's the same specs, but would they know what they are? IMO, I don't think it might be worth it to shave $100-$200 for something that might interfere with EyeSight, either relying on the system to stop for you or the glass causing false positives and braking. -

You shouldn't be using an aftermarket windshield if you have the EyeSight system... -

Are you sure the Limiteds are 8? I was pretty sure they're 7.5. -

Since we seem to be splitting hairs here, where's your save picture? Seeing at it is nearly three days pass the save photo deadline and nearly two days past the photo challenge deadline. Only because this latest challenge seems to be about particulars. -
Navigation Install (OEM)

Are you sure? It's mounted with the GPS module (black box) topside, with the white mount (ledge) pointed towards the driver. -

You didn't ask, but here's a few pics of its location, if you wanted to see how it looks, from when I pulled the combo display. -

The previous challenge was a pic of your Legacy with one wheel off the ground (which you won, I believe). This one is a pic of your Legacy with at least one wheel off your car/vehicle. -

It's a fight between the two "giants", with USPS as the referee. Or a fight between the parents, with the child USPS crying in the background. -

I do believe the fire truck challenge is over, as it has been nearly five full days (120hrs) from when the challenge was posted. That's 48hrs past the total deadline, plus 72hrs past the point of when a save photo was to have been posted. I PM'd Bozyczko about updating his challenge yesterday, so.... -

Hasn't it already been over 72hrs for this challenge? Should be a save photo as well as a new challenge, I believe. -
USB Music File Structure/Naming Help
Paradox replied to Mehilovich's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
Really? Whenever I've done that, when starting the car up again, it just resumes playing the song at the exact spot that it was playing when I last turned off the engine. Unless you mean it'll play the first song in that directory after that song finishes... Which I can't remember, because the gawd damn thing just keeps playing the same 10 songs in a directory of about 300 songs on shuffle!!!! -
Footwell illumination for under $10
Paradox replied to andrew_l_s's topic in Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019 )
I'm not sure, I haven't checked yet. I do know that when I installed the footwell lighting, the diagram color was correct to what was under the center console, if that's any help. -

The GPS antenna is located behind the cluster panel and not on the roof of the vehicle. -
You can also adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor in the Vehicle Customization Menu on the touchscreen.
