  1. I think it's foolish to think that you were being called foolish, he clearly stated "it would be foolish to question their products" not "hey your foolish dude". None of us have sema cars or deal with them on a wholesale level, but from what I've seen, everyone on THIS forum has nothing but positive things to say about DD, including me so I'm pretty sure your the only one laughing at your "joke"
  2. I've had my rims on for about a year now and had different rims before that for like 6 months, no trans problems here. Maybe some cheap extremely heavy 20's could do that??? I don't know never heard of rims affecting transmission
  3. Drooling over that outback, if anyone wants to buy these now you can get 15% off for Black Friday which equals about $280 off. Wish I had that money now :spin:
  4. Definitely... I was actually gonna bite the bullet and get RS-R coilovers from Japan off of their yahoo auction site but F$&@ that which I was questioning anyways lol guess I'm gonna have to save a couple hundred more for these
  5. Wow that is awesome I've been waiting for this!!!
  6. They are 6000k, it matches pretty well but I think 5000k or 5500k would match even better because in person mine have a hint of blue in them and the C-LED is more of a warm white
  7. +1 for this, I bought the pulley like a month ago but haven't put it on yet because I really don't feel like a buying the tool for it that I will never use again
  8. Hopefully he can get someone E85 flex tuned down there in the near future because I would be all over that once he knows everything works fine, theres a station less than 5 miles from my house that has it
  9. I thought I read somewhere our front sway bar is 26mm stock?
  10. Wow that would be crazy, has he said anything about our cvt's though because that is my only concern, if it can handle that much extra power
  11. Yea I plan on getting it tuned sometime before the end of the year, a couple other little things then next year is when I will really debate on pulling the trigger on the supercharger. If only getting it tuned makes that much of a difference like you have experienced then maybe that'll be good enough but we'll see, knowing that he can remotely tune it if I install the supercharger makes me want it that much more :spin:
  12. Hey tigger, so if I got the supercharger and installed it myself, would he be able to remotely tune that or would I have to get on a dyno at a shop?
  13. Yea I slightly rolled my rear fenders just enough so the lip wouldn't rub the tires
  14. Side pics are here http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5331509&postcount=100
  15. I read somewhere that they're not interchangeable
  16. I never actually saw what it looks like either, but if you go on parts.subaru.com you can look everything up to see what parts will be needed (obviously only for part #'s though unless you want to pay top dollar) we would somehow have to find used parts for cheaper
  17. I guess this is why you have over 10,000 posts. Thanks for the link to that thread though because I like to read anything Subaru CVT related even if it's not the same gen as ours it's always good to know but I'm the one who wants the SC kit, tigger already ruled it out so all the explaining about gas mileage is irrelevant, I could care less about that. Would you let someone talk you out of doing something to your car if you knew it was possible? Of coarse there will be roadblocks, I never said this would be some easy peasy install and when it comes to cars things break with no modifications. So if I totally screw the CVT up, that'll be my excuse to throw a 6MT in it
  18. What the hell are we talking about fuel economy, resale value and investment for? I'm pretty sure the only concern I had in the original question was the CVT. Nothing that you are saying besides how the CVT will hold up to the extra power which was stated already. I will be the one to test it because I am for sure getting this kit when it's available for US customers and we will see...
  19. I definitely understand both sides but I really hate the annoying answer which is to save up and get, or should've got a different car.... Ummm no, this is the car I have and will be keeping for long time so what I really need right now is enablers, not someone to bring my hopes and dreams down. Let's all get superchargers!!! Seriously though tigger let me know what Matt says when you see him, he probably knows more about our cars then anyone else right now so his word will definitely be the most helpful
  20. So tigger, I recently contacted raptor superchargers about their XV Crosstrek supercharger kits they have to see its compatibility with our cars and they told me the two kits they have adapt to all FB20/25 applications. So yea that's my next upgrade I'm saving for lol, any thoughts? pros/cons? I know the cvt is definitely cause for concern like you said before but if XV can take it, I'm sure ours should be fine. Was thinking if I did this I would like to see if the morimoto cvt oil cooler for the wrx is also compatible
  21. No rubbing at all but to make sure, after installing rear springs I partially rolled the rear fenders to give the tire some extra clearance
  22. Also with the new tune, were they able to fix the CEL problem from the high flow cat?
