alex0856
What made you decide to change your mind? Also I saw that the wing is mounted. Got any pics?
magnusonsubie
What made you decide to change your mind? Also I saw that the wing is mounted. Got any pics? I needed to take them apart to restore the lenses as there was some oxidation on the inside so I first plastidipped them and held them up and then painted them black to put them back together.  Wing pictures. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/19/e7e943bbb74f028a1116dd41c8885e9f.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/19/813e839dce567162dec48ce8c9d57d39.jpg 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

magnusonsubie
So you decided you preferred the fully blacked out look then? Since we have identical big black asses we need to take comparison shots someday to compare the wings. Yeah after Friday night cruising with Kailen32 and his brother his brother was saying how sleek and good my car looks at night on the road so I wanted to make it a bit darker even.  Yes we do need to get pictures together with how similar our wagons are. Once yours is back on the road I might make another weekend Portland trip. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
alex0856
Yeah! Except for the rims and the lack of a sunroof ours will be basically identical. Would make for a sweet photoshoot.
magnusonsubie
Brought it down more. More pictures next weekend for sure as I will be at BNW meet and parked in the show parking. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/25/15466105cc334a79de44b47082ef77f0.jpg 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

GipsySpec.B
Them spats:wub:Â Right? I'm going to be contacting Valley Legacy soon so see if he can score me some. I got really sick of my flaps about 6 months after putting them on.

GipsySpec.B
I liked the look at first but now not so much. Also the rear flaps are getting pretty chewed up on the constant steep climbs and drops of Monterey, especially around my apartment. I've always wanted some spats but had other things higher on the mod list.
magnusonsubie
Spats are what the Japanese use as mud flaps. Also I thought I saw valley legacy had a set of sedan spats for sale but I can't seem to find them right now. Edit: found them. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5198913 Edited July 28, 2015 by magnusonsubie 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
GipsySpec.B
The look of the JDM spats is 100x better than the mud flaps I have IMHO. I sent him a DM and hopefully I can score them. Thanks for that heads up Magnuson
alex0856
I have been iffy about RA flaps as well. My car has some sort of hard RA flaps, on the back only though. I'm going to be buying b_holms flaps from him though. They're actually effective and don't flap around everywhere.
magnusonsubie
Love how the car looks rolling now with the coils, spats, and wing all on there. Andy_Mac
What camber are you running to get the wheels tucking in so nicely? 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
magnusonsubie
What camber are you running to get the wheels tucking in so nicely? As much as I can right now. I haven't gotten an alignment outside of a tape measure in the garage till I am happy with how I have the coilovers set. Once I get them set then I'll get an alignment and know what the camber is. Probably only 2-3* in the rear though 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
