Stage II sleeper mode should come with a "baby on board" decal. With STI logo, of course.

I dunno bro... putting babies next to an "STI" logo isn't necessarily something you wanna throw out there, if you catch my drift...

Hmm...I'm having issues with the link.

"It's within spec" - SOA

"Depth is only shallowness viewed from the side." - Fredism

"So, how much did it cost for your car to be undriveable ." - Stephen (very close friend)

"You have done so much it would be stupid to go back." - Sunny of Guru Electronics

depends on the offset.

I would be wary of cheap broken wheels, you don't want a cracked rota to go boom because of being stressed during track days.

I would spend more money on tires than wheels, that's the best performance gain.

Unrelated to the wheels but did you get your car sorted out?

Not yet. Deadline at work on 6/20. After that, will start working on it. Already ordered the Free Range Racing hose kit, and am looking at some HIDs (tired of dim lowbeams). Will get the suspension stuff sorted out, and then probably need cam cover gasket(s). Replace the OCVs, maybe a couple of other things, and hopefully be ready to go..

Edit: also thinking about the Wilwood front/rear BBK Th3Franz has put together - under $2K for front and rear Wilwoods... Just gotta learn how to bleed brakes - anyone volunteer to teach me? Can repay in beer :-)

Brakes are easy with two people. I did it my first time just from reading the guides here. Much easier than I was expecting. I did this prior to the track day and didn't experience any fade - so I assume I did it correctly. my caliper and caliper bracket did fall off because I forgot to torque some bolts and the shop I had do the safety inspection didn't catch it though...

I got Osram 65s to replace my stock (terrible dim lights) based off of this review http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/osram-h7-65w-toshiba-hir-9011-pics-124938.html

Getting ready for the track day took priority and I have not put them in yet. So I can't give any first hand accounts of them yet.

Speaking of which - any recommendations of shops to do some/all of the work? Any thoughts about Precision Alignment in Mountain View?

Hm...I remember a custom alignment in mountain view. Off rengstorff. They were very good.

I wonder if it is the same place with new name or if you got the name wrong.

Havent been there in many years, but the work back then was excellent.
