Stock cat back and external wastegate. Only loud when you're getting after it. Or the stock y pipe and nameless axle back sounds nice and is what my wife's wagon has Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

Thread is 18 months old, is this really unsold? Clean manual and low miles looked like a score Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -
Check your Fumoto Oil drain plug.

Thanks, I checked mine for wetting and it was dry. My drain plug did need to be snugged a bit. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -

It's this in an OEM pan? Asking because I'm running a killer b pan and put the fumoto valve in the NPT thread instead of the straight thread hole Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -

Only other instance I've come acrossed is Ford Motocraft VC-6. Maybe we have something in common with the infamous 6.ohhh s#it Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -
If you choose to install the subframe spacers it is very straight forward and sourcing the parts will be very easy as there are a lot more Outbacks in the junkyards than legacy. Review the removal threads to see what parts you will need. Swapping the rear upper control arms and bump stops will not be required because that is a travel requirement for lowering. You will need the driveshaft, front and rear subframe spacers and bolts, steering linkage, front lower control arm studs and stud plates, shift linkage, rear trailing arm brackets, trans crossmember. It can easily be done in an afternoon. Source the parts and I'll gladly walk you thru it. You will also need adjustable rear arms to get your alignment dialed after the lift. My preference is the whiteline kta124. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

Thanks, I have some good info on that driveshaft if anyone is going to order it. First of all, the quality was too notch, it has replaceable u joints and carrier, it also has an additional u joint just behind the carrier which improved alignment from carrier to rear diff. And allows for more flexibility they suspension cycle. Most importantly, I find the actual source of the driveshaft so it's possible to get it even cheaper if they will still direct. It's well worth the money I paid but there's an opportunity to save a few bucks on it. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

Disconnect end link and zip tie sway bar to isolate. Carefully drive car and see if it still clunks Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -
I've considered this option. Sell the wife's Legacy or daily it, put her in the outback, by race wagon and race it Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

Sorry OP, I should've DM'd boxkita These fit 05 Accelerator Pad 36024FA001 X1 Clutch & Brake Pad 36024FA010 X2 https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/prs-dp-plate3-prosport-dead-pedal-factory-match I just installed on both wagons Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk -
This is all great info. Thank you both for sharing. The good news is I do not launch the car. I am generally moving when I remember I have power on tap and decide it's time to smash gas. I'll buy blast plates and watch for @boxkita to sell a 6mt swap Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
