  1. Ok great, in glad I'm your example you can feel a seized up end link. In my situation, with whiteline FSB, whiteline end links, and whiteline lateral locks there was no movent. Not back and forth, not up and down, not front to back. After removing the links and feeling one joint on one link was seized I replaced them with kartboy. Result? Popping gone. 2. It was easy, took a few hours. A couple of small flat blade screwdrivers, a panel tool, a phillips and a 10mm. I have a used set of legacy rails if you need them. I picked them up for $35 at the wrecking yard. I was going to install them but with fresh paint I opted for new ones. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  3. Red and bronze, maybe those british bronze in the FS section. They're [emoji91] Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  4. Sway bar end links will pop if the are seized, not just when they have play. So jacking the car up and giving everything a wiggle won't catch a seized up end link. Everything will fill fine and you'll lower the jack and keep driving (and popping). Happened to me the other day with some 4k mile whiteline FSB endlinks. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  5. Picked up some legacy wagon roof rails from the dealer and washed both the wagons Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  6. Front 2 piece rotors finally arrived 2 weeks after the rears. Got them installed tonight Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  7. I see what you did there [emoji1787] Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

  9. Ok, if I had that I would have left it [emoji6] Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  10. I bought a married AP because I needed the cable. Turns out it will read codes and display KPIs on other subarus even though it's married. I haven't tried it on non subarus yet Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks, figured I never use it, might as well Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  12. It is a US bumper, that and my lowered exhaust is my least favorite thing about this car but is doing the least harm so it will stay for a bit... Pick my battles [emoji2369] Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  13. 310/300 at 4300' and ambient temps of 88°. NPR pistons, nitrited STI crank, full killer b oil, 12mm pump w/ cosworth mods, GSC valves, ARP studs, all GS pre and post turbo/hot and cold side-all gasket matched and ceramic coated, fluidampr pulley, DW 740 side feeds and pump. VF52 and turbolab maps. This is a simple no BS set up that didn't break the bank. I know my 5mt limitations so power goals were modest. I put a lot of time and $ into suspension and this thing is a blast in the canyon. The future likely holds PPG synchro gear set and slightly increased power levels--wherever the car is happy. The baseline pre-dyno map caused us to abort first run as it was heading in the 330 range. Joe said it was very happy there and I kinda think that's where he wanted to take it but again... Stock 5mt and because driven like a teenager Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk

  15. After taking care of the OP I'd like a set up if you have a second. I'm doing the same thing Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  16. I do not want to spend a lot of time on this on the OPs thread but DM me if you want to trade drive shafts, shifters, etc. Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  17. This and that... Lights are coming along and rotors are in route Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  18. My outback is a riot to drive but when I get in my ram crew cab long bed dually (best motor/worst suspension and steering) I'm quickly reminded of the differences in a 2005 car that has been sorted and a new truck [emoji6]. Just going from my wife's GT wagon to the outback there is a huge difference in favor of the GT. But like kojak mentioned, if something is tweaked and your bushes are clapped you've got work to do. 19. That's good, now for the throttle pedal feeling worse than your sequoia. So a few things right off the bat. 1- Both vehicles are DBW throttle body so Toyota vs Subaru on how much torque you get to experience off the line. 2- The increased displacement of the Toyota 4.7l will feel better off the line unless you are doing something to build boost at a stop. 3- The 4.10 gear ratio driving only rear wheels likely does feel good. I'm not certain which trim/trans you have so IDK your ratio. Now, cruising on the freeway at 80 and crushing your pedal in the Subaru is likely more enjoyable? Like boxkita mentioned, you likely have a long list ahead of you to replace all of the worn bushes and joints. P sure after you get into it you will start to appreciate the ride and handling more and more with each bush replaced Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  20. Estates have bushes and wagons have bushings [emoji2960] Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  21. Very nice car Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks if you meant mine. They're deep bronze metallic with a heavy flake/custom mix. Calipers are same mix of sparklers over heavy silver so they match well. I'm guessing the powder coater was intrigued refinishing new wheels. Caps are black with the gold emblem. Thinking a smoke tint over the caps and the logo should match better.
