  1. Just bought the cooler for my 5eat. How is everyone experience with it and with the walkthrough? My car is a spring and summer car but I do live in a 4 season area so the temps in early spring or late summer def go down to 40s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ok so anyone stating rotating 45 degrees is insane. Key is complete 180. Flip it upside down. Rotate it to the right towards the firewall. The wire is going to get super tight but you can flip it. Then tip it up. Use a little force and it comes out. Reverse it to get it back in. Unclipping the wire would def make it easier but I was worried about not getting it back on and having to pull it again. Short of loosening motor mounts and jacking the motor up this is the only way to get that one out. Man my plugs weren’t even that bad. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Drivers rear is ridiculous. Just spent an hour and couldn’t get the coil pack off. Should I tilt it up or down left or right to get it out? I even used a bar to slightly push the motor over and it still wouldn’t come out. Hopefully there is a trick I’m missing. I’d hate to do 3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So anyone who wants to set up an Intercooler spray system I high key recommend doing it the way I did. I paid $15 and this system works very well. Just got an eBay washer tank with pump. Came with the spray nozzles too. Honestly I didn’t expect for it to be so powerful. It has way more power than the stock windshield spray system. Plus it was super easy to setup. The only modification I had to do was cut out the center splitter from the hood scoop. Only the metal part. Which honestly was in the way and messing up my Intercooler anyway. Then I drilled holes in the plastic piece shown and installed the sprayers. With a push of a button it shoots 4 heavy streams of water at my Intercooler. Very happy with it. The only thing I don’t like is I had to to use the crappy red momentary switch instead of my ic water spray switch. I drilled that into the fuse panel so if I decide one day I really really hate it I can replace the panel cheap instead of replacing a larger dash section Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Actually. Just realized. I could just use the wiper defrost switch. Car doesn’t go out in the winter so it’s useless anyway. Ding ding. Winner. Would have been cool to have the ic water spray switch but whatever. If it works it works Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah that’s my current setup. So I’d need a smaller switch. I was really hoping to use the sti switch but that might be too much trouble. Might have to go with your recommendation and grab a second one of those and steal a switch off of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah I feel like that would be an awesome option but a huge headache. I have power in and out of the switch and will wire it directly to the pump. It won’t be a timed spray like the sti but it will work. Just wish there was an empty location to drop this switch in. Def going to have to cut some panels to get this in but it will make look more oem than a crappy red button. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Lol. Nvm. Messed around and figured it out but I made a dumb mistake. I’m so used to newer cars and always have places to drop in a factory sized switch. Well. There isn’t a place for a switch this size. Not sure how I would fab it in without ruining the panels. Really didn’t want to use a standard crappy red button momentary switch but I guess I may have to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Ok so I’m hooking up my own Intercooler sprayer. I bought aftermarket tank and pump but I did buy an STI switch so it doesn’t look all ghetto. I just need help with the wiring. I have a schematic and a pic of the switch. All I need to know is which pin is power in, power out, and ground. Anyone who is good at reading these I would appreciate your help. I could just start plugging things in until it works but I’d rather not burn up my switch. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Awesome. Explains why I couldn’t find a gates kit and saved me $795. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Good pricing. Thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Anyone know a good place to have timing belt done in north jersey? I don’t feel comfortable doing it myself and I really don’t want to go to the dealer or a Mavis type place. I need it done on an 08 GT and a 15 2.5i. GT is at 102000 and 2.5 is at 112000. I’ve seen the precision tuning does it but that is pretty far from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Def over edited this but it kind of looks cool. Little dark tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. So I want a lift in my garage but honestly it just won’t work. Ceilings are 9 feet so I found lifts that would fit but it almost seems pointless. By the time the roof is at max it will only be a few feet off the ground. So laying down you can’t reach anything and you can’t stand underneath either. I saw these things called quick jack and they seem pretty good. They lift the whole car with hydraulics about 21”. Seems nice. No more running to each side with the jack. Downside is that it costs 2/3 of what a small lift costs. I’d feel terrible spending that money and it isn’t even a true lift. Does anyone know of any other options for lifting that won’t break the bank? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Looking for an adjustable bpv for my 08 legacy. Seeing what’s out there and if I could save a few bucks buying preowned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I’m only going to remove the Inner boot as that’s where the noise is. I don’t see why a hose clamp would be a problem for the inner. If it doesn’t help with the pop I’m just going to replace them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I put new lower control arms. I forget what brand they were but they weren’t mevotech. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Wish there still was. Pack of GTs cruising down the road would be awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. Yeah. That’s exactly why I got one. Everyone has a wrx. It’s the new Me Too car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
