  1. I just want it to be put back to the original design at this point. That would allow it to work now without additional modification and in theory allow for more room to grow when other restrictions to power elsewhere are upgraded.
  2. It won't fit because the JDM front end, including the grill, is just slightly different than the USDM Legacy. This makes just about everyone who is aware of what the JDM Legacy looks like very sad.
  3. Also, is that black one in the distance (second picture) a 5th gen with a JDM front? Because if so, shame on you for not walking over there and taking a better picture of it.
  4. The purple camo is Baziinga's (as indicated by her license plate). 2014 Legacy 2.5i I believe. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/baziingas-2014-legacy-223605.html The last one, assuming it is what I think it is, is ItalianLegacy's 3.6 supercharged monster. It was at a booth, right? The FMIC is peeking out of the lower grill.
  5. So, to distill our current understanding down to something that is as simple as possible: we're back to the current theorized solution is simply porting the wastegate?
  6. At the Winter Safe Driving Class at Team O'Neil, they tell you to fill up before the course and I always reset one of my trips. Of course, it's the dead of winter in northern NH, so when a couple of instructors rolled into the hotel we were all meeting at, I went out and started my car to warm it up. It was a ridiculously cold morning. By the time I lined my car up for the first lesson and an instructor hopped into the front seat, he noticed that I was averaging 7 MPG. So, driving around on a bunch of snow in second gear all day actually improved my gas mileage from that point.
  7. I'm pretty sure a trip from Massachusetts qualifies as more than 50 miles.
  8. For those in the PNW or Northern Cali, FTW Tuning (Eugene, OR) is offering $50 off Cobb protunes for Subarus if you are coming more than 50 miles away. Kinda odd, but certainly an attractive offer for those who meet the criteria. Apparently, they usually charge $350, so you're looking at a $300 protune if you take a drive.
  9. I doubt it will come to this, but if they need to physically see a car, let me know. I'm just 30 minutes south of Nameless and my downpipe is still in a box in my garage.
  10. Cool. Not to continue the thread hijack or anything, but I'm in if the GB gets off the ground. No shipping for me, either. Primitive Racing is less than 2 miles away from my work's office.
  11. Looks like he took some creative license at the very end of the post. Good thing your up-pipe is protected.
  12. How could SoA not sell tens of thousands of those?
  13. When I sold my Weds to a dude in New York, I just brought them to a UPS store as-is. If I recall, it cost me somewhere around 150 bucks to package and ship them from Boston-ish to Buffalo.
  14. It's a "free" ride in a race car. With donation. The details were lacking, so I have no idea what that actually entails. I'd be more interested in the paced lap, though. I wonder if they'd let my wife and kids in the car since it's paced. It'd be fun.
  15. None of the 5th gen Legacies have power folding mirrors. We have power (adjusting) and heated mirrors, but folding is manual.
