Sorry, guess I should have made that clearer--they are used but will still work just fine. They aren't really crush gaskets or anything. They seem to rust out over time and just end up falling to pieces.

Yeah, I "installed" the channel on a piece of wood and ran the whole thing through the saw--worked pretty well to keep everything stable. You're right about the mess...

Nice. Glad to hear the end result was good. I had to file some corners on the intercooler as well. Ripping an 8' piece of aluminum channel on a table saw is ******* scary!!! :eek: But worth it? Because intercoolers be expensive

I just sold a kit to another member since I had enough material to make an extra one anyway. That being said, I don't think I'd want to make anymore, and if I did I'd probably want to charge an exorbitant amount for them since they are a serious pain in the ass to make (especially cutting the aluminum along it's length). At least you should only have to do it once

2 stock heatshields still available (freebies), also have 2 OEM donut gaskets (downpipe to CBE connection) that are free to locals (they're used but in good shape). You'll probably need one if you are planning to replace your downpipe and/or CBE anytime soon. Both are in great shape and would work perfectly fine to replace yours if you need it. And they're free if you pick them up

If anyone needs a stock heatshield I have 2 of them lying around (non-trimmed). Come pick one or both up for free. Will go to scrap in a couple of weeks if no one wants. Can ship for cost +$5 for being a PITA.

Anyone want a muffler / midpipe from an '08 STI? Free if you come pick it up, located in 22303.

OEM wheels still available. They currently still have tires on them--take the whole set as is with the tires for $450. I'll be breaking them down on Monday, so if you're interested in them with the tires let me know before then. After that everything will be available separately--some interest in a couple wheels and the tires so far...would like to sell the whole set though.
